The hotel is good the location is perfect The bad staff amazing specially great thanks to kiro for good service and good job he deseeve more Animagikn team is great The guys are funny
Definitely not be back, hotel is a shambles staff wanting to mop and brush floors in restaurant while ppl eating totally disgusting, hotel is a health and safety hazard , wet floors with no signs up, food cold, only do chips at lunchtime, chef could not even make a margarita pizza had everything on it, and ment to be the big chef think he eat all the pies, satuee vegetables that has sliced oranges in it, meatballs that looked like sparrows, management arguing between themselves and staff just as bad, to much to say about this hotel , and GM didn't seem to be that bothered when I handed him a list of problems said he would look over it I actually done the full hotel , Barstaff Ehab was the best , he made our holiday even though the bar did run out of glasses and coffee cups, as for animation team, well waste of time telling my Son to f off, all because he said no to aqua gym, and the guy started prodding him with the foam stick, he was lucky it didn't get wrapped round his neck, Osama at reception lovely helped alot, and the taxi guy in the hotel Ibrahim did alot .
Maybe if Gm took on board what people are saying then maybe it would be a nice hotel, Ehab at bar is the best and deserves a metal for putting up with rubbish he gets. I am definitely not a snob,
I met alot of nice people who will definitely stay in my life think thats about the only thing that has came out as a positive. .
i stayed in this hotel for 16 days for me everythings was good i liked activity (acqua gym ) and also place and i have one special thank of RIVIETTA SHE IS VERY KIND AND ATTENT💖
RECEPTION :- We arrived late on the evening of the 12th July and greeted by a gentleman Osama who was very friendly and he showed us to the restaurant as they prepared food for us, which was hard vegatables, chicken and stodgy rice, for when we arrived and through out the 2 week holiday he couldnt do enough for us. He was excellent. ROOM :- We were then shown to our room by Osama and the room was very out dated, towels in the bathroom which were meant to be white were grey and need a good bleaching, air con unit, in the sleeping area, was lying at an angle where we found small drips coming from the unit onto floor. 2 days before the end of our holiday we had quite a severe leak all over the room floor so I reported it to Ahmed at the reception who advised me he would get the house keeping person to come and have a look at the leak from air con. After approximately 1 hour I still hadnt been contacted by house keeping so I again went back to reception who again advised would contact housekeeping again. This other chap from the reception came to the room with myself, so I could verify the leak to him, and he advised me that I didnt need to wait for housekeeping to come and get me and that they would go into the room and sort, using a master key ? I was then approximately 1 hour after, told the leak had been sorted so I went back to the room to find it hadnt been. I again reported this to reception and again they sent housekeeping to sort again. After a few hours I was told the leak had definately now been sorted. A couple of hours later my son went to use the toilet in the room only to be greeted when he walked in the room door to an even more severe leak. Whoever was meant to have sorted this leak previously had placed the rug, which is also a H&S issue, over where the leak was originally to cover it up. I then went to reception and again reported as I was fuming. I took vidoes of leak, and also wires which were now hanging out of the air con unit, so l pulled up the General Manager to advice as this was 5 times I had to report this issue. I was then advised that they wanted to move us to another room, 1.5 days before the end of our holiday which really annoyed us. I then spoke to the GM again and he agreed to allow us to stay in the room and gave us a big desk top fan, which he said was his, as we agreed to leave the air con off. Later that day I went to the room and found workmen and a manager from the housekeeping staff, standing with a big smile on his face which really did annoy me, in our room and again working on the air con unit. I mentioned to that manager that an agreement was made betwèen the GM and myself that no further work would be carried out on the air con unit until we left and all he done was stood there with a stupid smile on his face. We eventually gave up and moved to another room which again was very dated and tap in in the bathroom just kept turning when going from cold water to hot water, as if it hadnt been attached to the wash hand basin. RESTAURANT :- food is definately not for the british even although they have a british union jack outside of the hotel. The same repetitive food and even mash potatoes in the morning and a chef, basically standing guard, to dish out fish ? My son lived off chips and cucumber and i mostly ate chip rolls when we could get chips which wasnt very often so we ended up going out for dinner to eat something decent as the food was teŕrible and we were all inclusive. They had rolls in the restaurant every day and you had to ask at least 3 people for butter, which was only out approximately 2 days a week. 1 day I watched 1 of the head chefs run his fingers across the work surface, where there was colslaw and other salad, he then licked his fingers? Another day I watched a restaurant worker take a glass of water, which he never finished, and threw the rest of the water down the back of the table and then put the glass upside down again beside the glasses to be used? Restaurant staff trying to remove your plates before you are finished eating, the cutlery, plates and the cups and saucers need a good clean as they were always dirty also plates, cups and bowls need replaced as they were either chipped, cracked or broken.Restaurant cleaners trying to mop and sweep flooring, under the table you were sitting at, while you were eating, outside eating area there are seats and chairs and they were covered by birds dirt, chefs feeding the birds and cats at seating area, chefs had already boiled pasta for lunch/dinner which was under cooked and when you wanted the pasta they then put oil into a frying pan and then fried the pasta to re heat it making the pasta hard. We had ordered 2 margarita pizzas, from the lobby bar, and when they arrived they had mushrooms, olives and onions amongst other things on it and definately wasnt margarita pizzas so we googled a picture of a margarita pizza and the barman took our phone to show the chef what the pizzas should look like and eventually we did actually get the pizzas we paid for. The following morning the chef asked me if I enjoyed the pizzas and I explained the 1st 2 were NOT margarita pizzas and he replied, "I'm sorry. I was nervous." I wonder if the chefs have had any training? There is also an "Italian" restaurant with a bar which was closed and we were told it was bacause there were NO Italians at the restaurant which there actually was? There was also a notice at reception stating NO food to be taken out of restaurant. People, everyday, were taking food out of the restaurant and even taking it to the pool and staff were doing nothing about it even after witnessing it being done. Management were also arguing with staff members in the restaurant which is very unprofessional especially when the restaurant was full. Under the furniture, where ALL the food is situated, needs a good clean as mouldy food and dusty etc and doesnt seemed to have been cleaned in a while. LOBBY BAR :- floor hadnt been mopped in the 2 weeks were there nor were the window cills cleaned as they were covered with dead flys. Lobby/pool barmen were excellent especially E-Hab. Lack of glasses from time to time which isnt the bar staffs problem as they should have the tools to do their job. POOL/POOL BAR:- Staff arguing amongst themselfs and nearly having a fight before being stopped by pool staff and animation staff. Holiday makers should NOT have to witness this sort of carry on by any hotel/bar staff. Pool is dirty with sand/grouting on the pool floor. We only witnessed the pool being cleaned once in our 2 week stay. The slabs at the pool bar were lose, the are 2 sets of steps at the deeper end of the pool and one set has NO steps and the other had the 2 top steps but not the bottom step which was making it harder for people to get out of the deeper part of the pool (a health and safety issue) which these points were mentioned to the pool staff. A lot of the wooden sun loungers are broken. The day we were leaving there was a serious accident where a holiday maker split their foot and pool ended up with a lot of blood in it. We have friends still at this hotel who have advised the pool has never been emptied and cleaned since this accident. There didnt seem to be any 1st aiders or doctor at this hotel, even although there is a sign at receptipn with an arrow stating, "clinic?" The injured person had to wait at least 30 minutes before ambulance attended. ANIMATION TEAM :- The 1st day we were at the pool and watched the animation team in action I thought, "put some energy into your dances." Some looked as if they had just got out their bed and didnt want to be there and had NO motivation. 2 girls in the animation team were very energetic but apart from them the rest had no motivation. They come around the holiday makers and intimidate them to participate in darts & aqua arobics. When you say NO they dont take it too lightly and start annoying you or prodding you with what ever they can find. NO means NO. One male member, Abdullah, annoyed my son that much that my son told him to leave him and the animation chap then told my son to "f@#k off" they started being aggressive to my son and speaking in his own language. I spoke to this chaps manager, after I lost it with this animation chap, and his manager said he would either deduct 2 days wages or suspend this animation chap for 2 days but we dont know what and if any punishment was given to this animation person as he was still there in the afternoon when this incident happened and everyday there after? The animation manager wonders about as if he to is on holiday and doesnt seem to do much apart from sitting at the pool bar, with the rest of the animation team having a laugh and a joke. There is definately a lot of health & safety issues with this hotel and they need to have a look at a lot of training issues with their staff, chefs and management also I would not recommend this hotel to any British people. All these comments have been written down and given to the hotel GM.
DO NOT GO TO Coral Hills resort in SHARM!!
They pulled us from our hotel and promised "4 free nights + cheap activities". We went and it was ALL LIES. No service, no respect, nothing they promised. They ruined our holiday just to get customers. Shame on them!
