Xperience Kiroseiz Premier

Such a beautiful hotel we’ve really enjoyed our stay here, my kids loved the mini disco and the waterpark. the entertainment has been brilliant too and it never runs dry.

We came here as a family of 10 from 17th July to 1st August. We stayed on the Premier side. Rooms: Our room on the top floor room 4367 was lovely. The cleaner was amazing and left plenty of towels, loo roll, coffees etc every day. Most days we had towel art too which was a nice touch! The rest of our family had lower floor rooms. Rooms 4142/4143 were interconnecting. Spacious rooms but they did have a problem with ants. They asked reception to spray the rooms a couple of times but still found ants on the beds and were bitten a couple of times too. My parents were in 4148 and also got bitten we are presuming by ants/ mozzies. One day the cleaner did miss these rooms but he did apologise and came early the next day.

Food: A bit hit and miss really. The fussy eaters in our family were living off chips and rice. Rarely nuggets maybe twice in 2 weeks and kids buffet very repetitive, veg burger, chicken/ beef saus and chips. The theme evenings were all virtually the same food. I eat most things so I always found something different every day. The a la cartes were fab. The Indian was very nice but you had to pay for extras like poppadoms and Naan bread. The naan bread was more like a pancake then bread but was still nice. The Italian restaurant was the favourite. It opened while we were there after renovations. No extra to purchase. Bit slow on service I had to wait for my pizza for around 10 minutes after everyone else so they had finished by the time I got mine. But not a massive issue. Hotel: A large hotel which used to be 2 now merged into one. Loads of facilities we never explored fully the parklands side as it was just so hot we stuck by the premier pool which is quieter. The barman and lifeguards that side were great. Bringing towels and drinks.

Animation: A let down. The animation team were not seen much by the premier pool however were quite pushy with regards to reviews. We didn't partake in any activities through choice as we prefer a relaxing holiday. However when they come to tell you the program for the day they are quite pushy trying to get you to write reviews about them and offer to write them for you on your phone. They said they have to get reviews written saying that they are good or they get in trouble. Personally I would rather read real reviews not forced or fake ones. These reviews are always short and praise the animation team mainly. The entertainment was quite poor. But we never really stay in at night anyway. Preferring to venture onto Soho Square, Naama bay etc. The hotel taxis are expensive but reliable so we chose to use them with being such a large group and no WiFi outside the hotel.

WiFi is the best we have had. It's free to use and you get given a code upon arrival per device.

Another thing that lets this hotel down is checkout day! Never in my years of travelling have I had it where you cannot use all the facilities until you leave the hotel. We did pay for a late checkout for 1 room as we weren't leaving until 6:30pm and checkout was 12:00. We had to pay £60 ($80) to keep one room until 6pm. Those who didn't have late checkout were given white bands which are lunch and soft drinks only. Even though we paid the extra for 2 people in one room, we still wouldn't have been allowed an evening meal had we been picked up later. We walked to McDonald's which is up the road to feed the kids before the transfer arrived. We saw young children being refused food at the restaurant as their parents had a white band and they were being picked up later. Any hotel i have been to before you can have food and drink until you leave. When we checked out of our room at 6pm the bands were cut off and we weren't even allowed a drink until the bus came. We paid for 14 days but only got 13 and a half days in practise and had to pay for the final 6 hours. Bizarre system.

On the whole I really enjoyed my holiday as it is what you make it. With a few tweaks this hotel could be really good. For the money we paid we were all happy enough.
