Arrival was fantastic fresh fruit and drinks on arrival rooms always clean cleaners couldnt of done any better.

Food was the same near enough every day me and my children have had the runs our whole holiday.

Management discusting attitude we heard him tell staff if they was heard talking to staff they be fired.

Entertainment team was awful lily walks about and only talks to peoples husbands the other halfs get dirty looks. Budda gives children alcohol then has the cheek to say ill give you ny bank details send money to that. Keep your children away from him to keep them safe.

Camel rides on resort man wont leave the young girls alone.

On the plus lifeguards are amazing and would do anything for you. Not all of them are after a tip they are just there for you to have a good holiday.

We have just returned from a brilliant 14-night family holiday at Coral Sea Water World Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, staying from 22nd July 2026 to 5th August 2026. We travelled as a family of four with two boys aged 11 and 13, and overall, we loved the resort and would have no hesitation in returning.

We booked through TUI and arrived late in the evening. The hotel is only around 15–20 minutes from the airport, and check-in was quick and well organised. Bags are left securely outside while you check in, and ours were brought to the room within a few minutes.

Room and staff We booked a two-bedroom family room, which was clean, spacious and ideal for us. The boys had twin beds, and we had a large queen-size bed. Our room cleaner, Ahman, was excellent throughout the stay. He kept the room spotless, made towel art for the boys, made sure we had fresh beach towels and bottled water, and regularly checked that everything was okay.

A big positive for us was that staff across the resort were genuinely helpful and friendly. Ahman, our room cleaner, deserves a special mention for looking after us so well, and Salah at the beach bar was also excellent. We tipped where we wanted to, but at no point did we feel pressured or that anyone was waiting around for a tip.

Pools, Water World and beach The pools were very clean, well looked after and had plenty of lifeguards around. We never had an issue getting four sun loungers together, usually going out around 8:30–9:00am. The swim-up bars were well staffed, and service was quick.

The Water World area is separate from the main pool area, which works really well. There are plenty of slides, a lazy river and lots of staff and lifeguards. They are strict on safety, which we saw first-hand when our youngest fell out of a rubber ring after messing around on one of the slides (his own fault). Lifeguards were straight over, checked him over and made sure he was okay.

The beach is lovely, with shallow sand, plenty of loungers and a well-staffed beach bar. The sea is beautiful, and you can walk out quite far. Snorkelling from the end of the hotel pier was excellent, with lots of fish to see.

Food and drink We thought the main restaurant was very good for an all-inclusive. There was a different theme each night, plenty of choice, fresh cooking stations, salad options, kids’ options, chips, pizza and regular replenishment. We had seen mixed comments about food before travelling, but honestly there was always something for everyone.

The Mermaid Pool Bar was a regular lunch spot for us. The options were similar each day, but the food was freshly prepared and we really enjoyed it, the chicken shawarma and Greek salad were excellent.

We also tried the Italian restaurant twice and would recommend it. The Stone Grill was another good experience - £5 per head, a nice atmosphere and good quality meat cooked on the hot stone. Drinks were decent too, with real Coke, Sprite and Fanta, nice draft beer and good cocktails.

Entertainment and facilities The animation team provided daytime activities such as water aerobics, water polo and a beach foam party. The weekly white party on the beach was good fun. In the evenings we tended to play cards and relax around the bar and terrace areas, but there was entertainment available for both children and adults.

We also found the pool and snooker tables in week two, which you can hire from reception for £3 per hour. The hotel also has a large 3G football pitch, which was popular with teenagers in the evenings.

Useful tips The hotel shops are expensive, especially for crisps, chocolate and snacks. If you want those bits, head outside to the Metro shop, which is only around a two-minute walk and much cheaper.

We used the Butterfly Spa during our stay and had body scrubs, full body massages and hot stone massages. The treatments were good and lasted around an hour each. You can haggle on price, so people will likely pay different amounts.

Aquarius on the beach was also very good for watersports. We booked duo parasailing and a speedboat/sofa ride, both of which were great fun. In hindsight, I wish we had booked the snorkelling trip through them too, as reviews seemed good and it looked cheaper than booking in advance.

Trips We booked our trips with TUI before travelling, and they were operated by Travco. The snorkelling cruise with lunch and Seascope submarine was good, and our guide Khalid was excellent. One thing to note is the marine tax, we were advised it was $10 each or equivalent, but on the day, it was $11 each and they treated £11 as the equivalent, rather than converting the currency.

We also did the Naqb National Park 4x4 trip with camel ride and dinner. The 4x4 and desert scenery were good fun, and the food was nice, but the camel ride was very short and there was more pressure around tipping than we experienced at the hotel.

Overall Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday. The resort was clean, safe, well organised and full of friendly staff. It worked well for families, especially with children around our boys’ ages, and there was enough to keep everyone happy without feeling too busy or chaotic.

We would recommend Coral Sea Water World and would happily return.

Recommendation Take your own 'Cups' such as a Sho bottles. Staff are more than happy to fill these up. We did not have any but plenty of others did, otherwise the plastic cups are quite small around the pool.
