The original review that I left is below. I have updated this following 9 days of diarrhoea which started towards the end of our holiday, and peaked about 6 days after we returned to the UK. The stool samples we later provided to the NHS confirmed that we had been infected with shigella whilst at the resort. I understand that many other guests who visiting in July are suffering from similar medical complaints....
Drafted on 26 July 2026: Very nice rooms, comfortable beds Pool area very large and clean, and our kids loved the water slides We never had any problems finding sun loungers for our group of 4, despite often not going to the pool until after 10am Nice beach and excellent snorkelling off the hotel jetty Every staff member we met seemed polite, friendly and keen to ensure we were enjoying our stay Hotel WiFi generally good The adults only restaurant was much nicer than the family restaurant in food choice and quality. We only discovered it on the last day. Prior to then most of our party had experienced stomach upsets The beer and wine were local brands, which generally weren’t to our tastes
A really lovely experience at the hotel; the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the service is excellent. The pool was clean and peaceful, and the bars provided good service. The gym is one of the best I’ve used in hotels, and the trainer, Yahya, was very helpful and ensured I got the most out of my workout – he’s a real asset to the hotel. We’ll definitely be back one day.
Amazing hotel friendly staff and first class service. Food was exceptional every meal time I found myself going back for more. Quality of drinks again excellent. The beach wow and the jetty what a amazing experience snorkelling there
Right where do I start we got there 13th July around 1030pm and they said they had left late tea on which we was happy about later to discover everything was uncooked and cold. 2nd day in to holiday me and my other half couldn’t get off toilet and stop been sick, spoken to TUI uk about this and then the hotel approached us to tell us that there nothing wrong with food or water and just to eat rice and boiled chicken? But I was just so shocked that they told us what to eat on holiday. So after been poorly for 8 days we stopped eating and drinking at the hotel completely. When we got home we got seen by UK doctors which they was really concerned about our health due to us having sickness and diarrhoea for over 8 solid days, they asked for a stool sample which on the Monday 27th July came back with positive E. coli and Giardia a stomach infection which required antibiotics for seven days. This was a holiday from hell I wouldn’t go back at all the staff was good but the front desk was soo rude it’s unreal.
The hotel itself was beautiful. The room was clean. Plenty of pools to choose from if one got a bit too busy. Food was always lovely but repetitive. Entertainment was disappointing. As a family with young children, there was nothing on during the day suitable for toddlers and nothing in the evening at all for children. This is a resort for adults really although the staff were welcoming and friendly and tried to be helpful with the kids. There is a kids club but I never once saw anyone come round to invite the kids to go, never saw any group of kids with kids club staff. So if you're looking for kids entertainment, this is not the hotel for you. It's more for quiet teens and adults.
