TUI Magic Life Redsina

We have just got back from a fabulous week at Redsina Magic Life - we booked this for a last minute holiday a few days before we travelled but I have been to this resort /hotel before about 12 years ago so had a good idea what to expect. Check in was around 9pm due to later flight than I would normally take , the check in process was pretty smooth and a porter escorted us to our room in block 22a. Last time we stayed here we were in one of the suite type rooms with an extra sitting area closer to the beach but this time I booked a standard pool view with balcony and to be honest the room was large enough for us with a lovely balcony overlooking the quiet adult only pool, which was perfect for us and very close to the main social areas and restaurant , which again was perfect for our needs. Although we were near the entertainment area the design of the buildings meant that our room was always very quiet. The room was well equipped with minibar, coffee machine, safe , ample seating, comfortable double bed and nice en-suite with large walk in shower. There was a decent hairdryer and toiletries were provided along with amenities such loofahs, razors, sewing kits etc. Laundry service is available at a reasonable cost although we did not need this so cannot review the service. The balcony was large and had comfortable seating and table, this is the only allocated smoking area in the room but again we don’t smoke so didn’t need this. A nice touch was the complementary beach bag with pool towels which were replaced each morning for the next day (left in room by room attendant while we used the day before’s at the pool) The resort is huge with beautiful well tended gardens and a huge swimming pool with bar and lots of sunloungers with parasols. There are several bars and 3 al la carte restaurants - we were given a complementary al la carte meal of our choice as we were staying a week , you can purchase more at a small surcharge. The main restaurant is a buffet with several stations of different food choices and there are vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. The outside seating was excellent , there are indoor tables but we didn’t use these. The entertainment consists of dance shows in the amphitheatre, themed party nights, daytime games and other areas with chilled music so we were never bored. There is also a water park for children , kids clubs, teen clubs etc but as a couple we didn’t go to these. Now for the most important part - the staff !! - The entire staff at the hotel were excellent, friendly, helpful and often proactive. We tipped modestly throughout the week but I think even if we hadn’t we would have been thoroughly spoiled by the waiters, bar staff, pool attendants/lifeguards and our room attendant. I would like to give a huge shoutout to those that I feel went well over their required level of service and made us feel like friends. Islam, our waiter was outstanding, always smiling, helpful knew our drinks order at mealtimes very quickly and would keep us hydrated and entertained throughout our stay.= thank you Islam . Mohamed, the lifeguard at the adult only pool helped me find a cabana on the first day and was always attentive and courteous , sharing jokes and taking an interest in our enjoyment of the holiday. Walleed , the barman in the quiet pool bar kept us hydrated with water , soft drinks and the occasional alcoholic tipple,both gave a superb friendly service and made us feel quite pampered throughout the holiday. Ahmed our room attendant was always smiling and friendly and kept our room slick and span. All the entertainment crew work really hard as does everyone at the hotel, to give the guests a wonderful holiday- I really can’t fault anything about this place- I am sure we will be back again soon .
