It was okay
As a summary I would say it was all 'okay'.
There were some big pluses, the staff are helpful. Smiley, friendly. They were brilliant with my children. Pool staff by the main pool and lifeguards were spot on! Room was large which was good. Piano bar staff were fab too!
Food isn't great. I would consider myself a real foodie and eat almost anything but I struggled and ended up with jacket potatoes often ....not exactly what you pay all inclusive for. We ate out at least 5 times in the 10 nights we stayed as couldn't face another night of the food.
Swim up bar in the main pool wasn't very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The guy was often on his own there and could be rude...likely due to no let up all day...however. doesn't make for the best experience.
We had some amazing experiences booked through the guys at the hotel, but the hassel is relentless. Every single day of the holiday. We did 3 excursions, my daughter had her hair done and my husband and I both had massages, yet we were continually hassled every day.
I wouldn't consider myself to the fairly well travelled and for a 5* establishment at the price that was paid, I had expected more which is a shame. We had a nice holiday as a family but would not return to the concorde if ever were to visit Sharm El Sheikh again.

Great stay at the Concorde El Salam Hotel
Absolutely loved our stay at Concorde El Salam front hotel. We also had access to ALL the facilities at the Concorde El Salam Sports hotel across the road. If you didn't want to walk to the sister hotel there was a small shuttle bus you could use for free which ran every 10 minutes. All the staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Alaa our pool barman, Ahmed the waiter at the Italian restaurant and Ahmed at the Laguna main restaurant. Big thanks and our cleaners Mohmood, Hussain and Mahmood for keeping our room very clean and stocked up with everything we needed every day. We also became very friendly with Adam who we purchased all our excursions through, which were first class and met all our requirements. If I was to scrutinise anything, it would be the lack of entertainment, but it didn't spoil our holiday.

Thank you Concorde team!
We had the best holiday we've ever had at Concorde and have the amazing staff to thank for that! This hotel is amazing. We had a family suite and the room was huge! Large living area with sofa and dining table etc, and a small kitchenette with a full sized fridge, water replaced every day. 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, and great air con. The housekeeping staff are fantastic and do such a good job. Thank you to Mahmoud and your team!
The main restaurant is okay, typical all inclusive, there's always something for everyone, some nights were better than others but that's to be expected! The Mexican restaurant at the pool was good fun, the team really work hard to make the experience enjoyable and the food was great too. The same with the Italian and the flame restaurant, try them all! The al a carte at the Italian was top tier and especially Ahmed who worked his absolute socks off but always with a smile and remembered our drinks order days later! The cocktails at the piano bar were the best, and they do lovely iced coffees if you don't go too early. Special mention to Abdulrahman, lovely man always with a smile on his face and having a laugh with guests, and made the best drinks, he really looked after us and made our holiday extra special! Alaa at the gym pool, always greeting us with a smile on his face and 'hello friend' made us feel so welcome thank you. We had 2 birthdays while we were at this hotel, we didn't even mention it but had 2 birthday cakes delivered to our room, and a birthday cake made of towels 😊.
When things went wrong - things out of the hotels control, they sprung into action and took such great care of us so thank you to the management team too.
We normally like to holiday in different countries / areas but the whole family agrees we want to come back here ASAP and wouldn't go anywhere else! Thank you for giving us such special memories, we miss you all.
Location 10/10. 10 minute transfer from the airport and a 2 minute walk to Soho Square.

came here with my family for 2 weeks on holiday and everything about the hotel was brilliant especially the cleanliness and treatment towards us
