We went to hospital. The next day a beach boy asked us about it
My partner had to go to hospital, and only we and reception knew about it. The next day a beach boy messaged us asking if she was OK, because he'd "heard from a friend at the hotel". Other staff asked us about the hospital too. Security is there to keep beach boys away from guests, yet the staff pass guests' private information straight to them. That's not a minor issue, it's a safety issue. Check-out – the moment we checked out, they cut off our Wi-Fi and took our all-inclusive wristbands. For the several hours we had to wait before leaving for the airport, we were entitled to absolutely nothing. After two weeks all inclusive, we were suddenly strangers. Want a late check-out for a few hours? That's $100. Room – the AC dripped water and the air coming out smelled of mould. The unit clearly hadn't been cleaned or disinfected. Soundproofing is practically non-existent: neighbours complained several times that we were talking "too loudly". This was between 8 pm and midnight, in normal conversation, with no music and no arguing. Security – lots of beach boys approached us, and there aren't even enough guards to handle the monkeys. They steal from sunbeds (they got our things too) and from the snack bar. Staff – several times we saw bartenders and other employees secretly drinking alcohol from the bar. Pool – the beach towels handed out at the pool were dirty, with clear signs of use. The pool bar has a poor drinks selection and there's often no bartender at all. Wi-Fi – very weak and mostly unavailable throughout the hotel. The food is good, the beach is nice, the pool and grounds are fine and most staff are friendly. None of that matters when the hotel can't keep guests' private matters private, the room smells of mould, and you stop counting as a guest the minute you check out. We wouldn't recommend it.

Three Wonderful Nights in Diani with Exceptional Hospitality
We spent three wonderful nights at Neptune Village in Diani during our trip to Kenya in September 2026, and it was a beautiful and relaxing part of our holiday.
After our safari experience, arriving in Diani felt like the perfect change of atmosphere. We truly enjoyed the setting, the peaceful environment and the warm hospitality throughout our stay.
A very special place in our hearts goes to Njira. Her kindness, warmth and genuine attention made a real difference to our experience. She made us feel welcome and cared for, and her wonderful human qualities are among the memories we will keep from our time in Diani.
Sometimes, what makes a trip unforgettable is not only the beauty of a place, but also the people you meet along the way. Njira was definitely one of those special people for us.
We would also like to sincerely thank the entire Neptune Village team for their hospitality, kindness and care during our three-night stay.
We left Diani with beautiful memories and would be very happy to return one day.

Neptune´s Village - It’s the staff who make the difference
Our stay at Neptune’s Village was very pleasant. We felt at home right from the start. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make guests be happy. Dullah from the animation team, in particular, made us feel we were in our second home. His dance moves were brilliant and he always kept the atmosphere lively. The aqua aerobics session at 11.00 with Salim was always worth heading down to the pool for – even if it was just to watch from the pool bar :-). The food was excellent and the resort was very clean and well-maintained. We’d stay at Neptune’s again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good hotel
Nice pool and next to the beach the rooms need renovation but they are still fine
Fantastic location
I loved it. I’ve stayed at both Paradise and Village. The first has excellent refurbished rooms , the second is fantastic for kids. What I love most about this hotel is the beach which is just perfect, feels like an extension of the hotel.
