Aqua Fun Club Marrakech

I visited the first two weeks of Sept with family. It's a great place and highly recommend. Wanted to disspell a couple of the things I seen written here. The food is not covered in flies. I arrived at 2245 and after the main dinner service they keep a few items going for late arrivals and we were able to eat just before it closed. I had seen written elsewhere that this was not the case - but it was fine for us.

The main reception is very clean, we had a nice welcome. The following day was a Saturday and we the main waterpark tends to get most of it's external visitors on that day. I didn't at any point feel my possessions were unsafe and the lifeguards did a great job of staying on top of the waterpark attendees. I would say maybe introduce a system whereby people have to relinquish their mat after a ride and queue up for another as that was a problem on the Saturday but not on other days. The waterpark day pass attendees and prevented by security from venturing to the main hotel and main pool area so again it felt secure. Sunbeds were never an issue. The music around the main pool is a little loud but there are lots of pools and areas to choose from.

The waterpark itself is excellent with a huge range of rides. Anyone of any age would seriously enjoy them. There is also a fantastic range for younger children and a very good one private to the hotel itself for younger kids. You pay a deposit for towels and can have them replaced as needed during your stay.

There was a vast range of food available each day - I would suggest introducing some vegan protein daily such as tofu. Other than that there is everything you might need - 10 rotating recipe tagines daily, soups, sushi, salmon, a salad bar, pasta bar that was very good, paella, pizza station and a lot more. A huge amount to choose from. There's an ice cream station for an hour or two each day, popcorn, chocolate fountain a nibbles in the afternoon along with a bakery section from morning until evening.

Drinks are readily available without any queues. There's a decent range for an all inclusive. One tip I would suggest is your own cup as this will keep your drink nice and cool whilst reducing plastic waste. It was good to see plastic recycling. I saw on a different review that there was no bottled water but this was nonsense it was in several locations and always readily available and easy to get. There's a nice shop onsite also run by lovely people.

The entertainment staff are really hardworking and very genuine friendly people and did a great job. The room was great, I saw a different review saying anyone could open the sliding doors - it's deceptive but the lock is actually there and could be easily missed, but the sliding doors do have a lock at the closure point and the rooms have a safe. The rooms are superb and very spacious with everything you need. I recommend using this site to book a hot air balloon, there are two sets of waterfalls and I've done both, one is much further. Both are incredible days out.

Brilliant, experience lovely hotel, service was good, very nice team of people working together. food was different each day. all round lovely time away would come back again.
