Club Paradisio Hotel

I won't novel this one, ill bullet point areas and you can scroll to what you want. Its ok, but its far from 4*, very far, but can be fixed easily and inexpensively if only the management would take reviews into consideration. The hotel is ok, but there are concerns...Read on.

Right, lets get into it..

1} Location Its as you would expect booking this, no beach, no strips, bars, restaurants, its in Marrakech, don't expect them here, shopping centre 10 minute walk, with outlets and some fast food, Medina and souk, 10 minute taxi ride, very busy and dangerous due to so many mopeds in small alleys, its a good experience, but not for kids, its too busy...

2} Staff Mixed here, bar staff friendly, reception staff pretty miserable and no help with questions, I asked about the shuttle bus to Medina as advertised, there wasn't one, I asked about the snack bar and was told restaurant closed, went to change money as they said when we checked in, didn't have any small bills...cleaners work hard

3} Food This is not good, barely warm, short on choice and nothing at all is labelled, this is a big concern if you have dietary requirements, few hot dishes, a salad bar, few desserts, and pizza, don't expect cold meats, cheese selections etc, there are none. Few bread rolls, and a few birds flying around as part of the restaurant is outside. Not good. Do not expect an all inclusive snack bar, there isn't one, the snack bar by the pool is only open inside, if you go in you have to pay, again, poor for all inclusive. No ice creams as you would expect in small pots, but you can buy them in the Kasbagh reception shop, again, poor if you have kids.

4} Drinks Poor, only 1 all inclusive bar, its by the loud pool, ( no indoor bar unless you pay in the kasbagh) beer is served from cans in unwashed cups, cheap beer, if your lucky enough to have a freshly opened one, it will be slightly cold, if your not, your getting dregs from opened ones, on the bench and warm, there is no draft here at all. All inclusive menu isn't advertised, so you have to guess or ask what you can have, it's not great at all, This brings me onto hygiene...........

5} Hygiene Very concerning, on a different level, the pool bar is the only all inclusive bar, they do not wash or sterilise the plastic cups, its rinsed under a cold tap and re issued, its appalling, the bar is swarming with wasps, you can see them literally flying around the dispensers and in the cups and drip trays, its uncomfortable, thousands of cups a day just rinsed in cold water, ive seen all manner of rubbish thrown in the cups, fag butts, tissues, food, and other stuff, its awful. Needs serious attention. If the staff that move the chairs about and collect cups actually took a cloth and wiped the tables outside, it would certainly help keep the wasp infestation down..

6} Entertainment Well is there any? I saw 2 guys around the loud pool all day, seemed to just have loud music playing, but they seemed to just sit and mingle with the "pretty girls" all day, no schedule, nothing, evening was also hit and miss, same woman came to sing every night, over a playlist, like karaoke , sung a few lines over it, and wasn't really good, I would assume staff, we did see a guy throwing some flames about for 10 minutes, that's all...

7} Pools Pools are nice, you have 2, a quiet one and the loud one which is where you only AI bar is. The quiet one is more relaxed, but you have to go to the other to get a drink, the loud pool is swarming with wasps and you cannot relax for the loud music and wasps constantly in your drinks, its so disappointing as the pools are good, plenty of beds and parasols, no rush to get them, just let down so bad by the constant wanna be night club and wasps, I go on about these but believe me its awful, perhaps time of year, I don't know, but clean the tables and reduce the issue.

Sum up

Notes for Management. Get a cup washer at the bar, its cheap and eliminates your hygiene issue. Label your food, people have allergies and dietary issues, it needs addressing. Teach staff to wipe tables around the bar, its simple task. They do it in the paid bar ? Get wasp traps hanging in the surrounding trees, it will help Get an all inclusive snack bar, a proper one. Not a few dried plates of food in a room brought over from lunch leftovers that are not kept warm or fresh. Ice cream for kids?

So. Would I stay here again? No not unless it was priced as 2* and has better hygiene. Take from this what you will, my reviews are honest and based on my experience in September 2026. Feel free to ask me any questions....

Worst hotel all inclusive hotel I’ve ever been to food disgusting none of it labeled or covered you have to go out to eat only all inclusive bar at pool with dirty plastic cups they just rinse rooms need updated the do not cater for English if your thinking of coming take note of other reviews we wish we had because they were all right 4 star hotel wouldn’t give it 1 if in England food hygiene would of closed it we left 2 days early was that bad out side the hotel place is nice
