Fabulous! Just returned from a week at Kensi with my two daughters aged 13 and 14. The manager is attentive, welcoming and nothing is too much. He runs a fantastic hotel and all departments work so hard. A huge shout out to the entertainment team (Kenzi boys! and girls) - their energy and enthusiasm is second to none. The shows on the night are the best evening entertainment we’ve seen at a resort. Brilliant. The only slight negative (but from a cost saving perspective for the hotel) the portion sizes at the Moroccan and Spanish restaurants could be reduced to save wastage. Overall, a great holiday at a superb hotel.
From the moment we arrived to the time we left we had an incredible time (dad and 14 year old daughter). The staff really helped make the trip exceptional - from the reception team to bar and restaurant, pool staff and housekeeping- they were all incredibly polite and couldn’t do enough to help. Food was varied, plenty to do and the place was clean and well organised.
We’ve had a lovely week here (2 adults 3 children).
The accommodation, grounds, pools and staff are all fantastic. Always plenty choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Highlight for us was the pool party on Wednesday evening. The kids had a great time splashing around and enjoying the music.
We’d definitely recommend this hotel, and will return.
We’ve had an amazing holiday staying at the Kenzi club hotel. The staff throughout the hotel from the minute we walked into the hotel, to the restaurant and accommodation, to the entertainment, to the maintenance, have all been incredible. Very welcoming, approachable and warm. We’re quite cautious parents so leaving our child at the kids club at first was a slight worry and took us 3 days into our trip to do it. But the amazing team NARJISSE, SAAD , FATI , OUMNIA , AICHA are all so lovely and after a session with them my son wanted to go back the next day. They have a wide range of activities available for the kids and the programme is outside available for you to see what’s on each day. We have loved our stay at this hotel and the different activities that are available daily for children but also adults. Have loved our stay here.
So first the good bits.
Location: a very short drive from the airport and the medina.
Hotel grounds: the gardeners have done a great job keeping the place looking good.
Next the ok bits
Staff: Some staff are really good and helpful, others not so much.
Next the bits that need improvement
Food: mediocre I’m afraid and for some reason every other dish is extremely salty.
À la carte restaurants: the Italian and Spanish ones charge you for ALL drinks. So basically they make up for the cost of the meal by charging you western hotel prices for drinks which are all inclusive in the main restaurant and bars.
Room maintenance: the bathroom had clearly seen better days, but there were small things that didn’t make sense like no toilet roll holders in the toilet. Also a down lighter next to a leaking shower head was a new one on me.
General organisation: pretty chaotic overall. There is little bits of information randomly scattered about like show times. But things like restaurateur kids club opening times are not provided anywhere apart from outside those places.
Building work right opposite my room window: would have been nice to get a heads up on this. The seated area in front of our rooms was unusable during the day because of the builders.
