- Riad and Spa Esprit Du Maroc
Riad & Spa Esprit Maroc is located in the heart of Marrakech's medina, a 10-minute walk from Jemaa el Fna square. It's near the Marrakech Museum, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and Dar Bacha Palace, in the prestigious Zaouit Lahdar district, one of the oldest areas of the medina. The riad features twelve rooms, three patios (one with a swimming pool), a Moroccan restaurant, a spa, and a fitness room. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop garden. The refined decor creates a tranquil atmosphere of comfort, luxury, and impeccable service.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Beautiful stay in a wonderful Riad . Staff were tremendous ( especially Yousuf and Hassan ) . Highly recommended
This is a genuine little paradise hidden away in the very heart of the Marrakech medina. It took us roughly ten minutes to reach it from the nearest road, where we had arrived by taxi, and the route was not difficult or complicated to follow. The last twists and turns through the small alleys just before the entrance to the riad can look a little intimidating at first glance, but that contrast only makes the admiration even stronger when you finally step inside the riad — the photographs simply do not capture or convey all the beauty that appeared before us when we arrived. The staff are extremely friendly, warm, and responsive, and they speak excellent English. They immediately offer a wide selection of services for every taste — but they do it in a completely unobtrusive, non-pushy way. In our case, for example, we declined everything right away because we had already planned everything in advance and had arranged our own schedule beforehand, and this did not cause any problems whatsoever.
From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcomed and valued! The Riad itself was lovely, well maintained and a very safe environment. The daily breakfast was very good and had an evening meal there on our first day which was equally as good. It’s a nice 10-15 minute walk through the Medina to the main square, passing through Souks along well lit and relatively straight forward roads. The passageway into the Riad is eye opening and a stark contrast to when the front door is opened into the Riad itself. Haitaim took the time to sit with us on arrival and answer our questions and provided useful information on our plans to maximise our time there. Youseff, Mohammed and Hasan also went above and beyond for us, exceeding our expectations and all of the staff are a credit to Sylvie, who owns the Riad and we would recommend a stay there if you are looking to spend time in the Marrakesh Medina.
A beautiful accomodation with very helpful and friendly staff. Make sure you arrange through the Riad in advance airport transfer as it is not easily found. Also drop a pin just outside the tunnels to get to it. Hope they have sorted out their water problems. an added bonus is the very good value basement spa
Lovely riad in a great location - quite hidden away. Clean rooms and a beautiful roof terrace. There is a resident dog - large but very friendly. Staff all charming and very helpful.
