Not all it seems
We are currently at the hotel for a mini honeymoon. Over the past 10 years we have visited this hotel a number of times. We have recommended it to friends and family. We travel a number of times a year and will always see if there are a RIU in the area. This hotel is their top range a ‘palace’ 5 star so we decided to come here after our wedding as the hotels is outstanding. Sadly even though they advertise branded spirits this isn’t always the case. Our first evening here and they do not have branded spirits and are serving all I can describe as fire water. It’s such a shame as their ‘palace’ is promoted as above 5 star. But sadly they fall short here. I appreciate there is more to a holiday and the hotel and surrounding grounds and facilities are brilliant. Shame part of the experience is lacking

Great experience - would defo return. Entertainment great - Safae & team wonderful & Tarik was excellent round the pool and so helpful. Would return.

Great wee Hol
11 nights and our first time in this hotel. (We are big Rui customers). I read all reviews including complaints prior to booking (none of complaints I thought were justified). The Great Stunning hotel, immaculate condition, layout looks awesome with pools, palm trees, rooms cleaned to highest standard daily, food was great with plenty of choices that tasted delicious. Most nights the waiters were quick to meet your needs with top up of drinks. The poolside beds have thick comfy mattress - brilliant.
The Good Most staff really friendly but some can be a bit blunt in their responses, I think this could be a cultural thing and not deliberately rude. Local beach area across from access gate. This has a security guard and was always busy. Bad - no bad
