Hotel was as you would expect for a budget stay. Staff were really lovely and although there was a language barrier never had any issues communicating. Shower was excellent. Lovely views. Some traffic noise but not awful. Breakfasts were lovely especially the omelettes.
The customer service is very mediocre, especially the receptionists, who have a very arrogant attitude and don't even make eye contact to give you a proper welcome. The hotel does have many green areas, but the rooms are very basic with a tiny, enclosed bathroom. I I wouldn't recommend it when there are other options.
We stayed at Hotel Tildi for a week in July, and overall had a good stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, being only a short five-minute walk from the beach, promenade, and a wide selection of restaurants.
The hotel itself is starting to show its age and would certainly benefit from some refurbishment. The rooms are spacious, although the bathroom layout is a little unusual, with the toilet being separate from the wash basin and shower. The beds were quite firm, but we got used to them after a couple of nights. We did have to ask for an extra pillow, as only one was provided per person. It’s also worth noting that the hotel no longer provides tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
The pool area is large, with plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day, so there was never any need to rush out early to reserve one. The pool bar and restaurant serve food and drinks during the day at reasonable prices.
Breakfast was perfectly adequate, offering a selection of pastries, cereals, fruit, and an omelette station. However, if you’re expecting a traditional British cooked breakfast, you’ll likely be disappointed.
The only real annoyance was that whenever the housekeeping staff cleaned the room, they removed the key card from the electricity slot. This switched off the fridge and all electrical sockets, meaning phones and other devices stopped charging while we were out. On arrival, we also felt the room hadn’t been cleaned to a particularly high standard, but after mentioning it to reception, the housekeeping noticeably improved for the remainder of our stay.
The gym is located next to the pool bar, but don’t expect a lot of equipment and what is needs repaired but I made do with what was provided for the week.
A handy bonus is the mini market next door, which sells most everyday essentials and is very convenient.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tildi. Considering the price we paid and its excellent location, it represented good value for money, and we would happily return.
Fantastic hotel great value for money, rooms are cleaned every day. Food was really good and plenty of choices. We had a spa day it was perfect and great value for money would recommend. Staff could not be nicer and always happy to help . One bad thing Is we have to go home See you soon
We stayed here for a week in June, on a B&B basis . We had a pool view room ( which we asked for in advance and paid an extra fee at check in), with a good size balcony. Looking at the hotel, we realised we were lucky to have that, as there weren't many rooms at all with proper balconies. If you keep door open, it can be a bit loud, but with it shut it was quiet. We had the cleaners in every other day ( our choice ), they always did a good job, as well as some nice ornaments out of the bed throw. Room was spacious, big wardrobes, separate toilet room and shower room, free safe, a bit dated, but we were expecting it and it's also reflected in the price in my opinion. Smoking allowed on the balcony. We brought our own kettle as there isn't one in the room. There is a fridge, but we had too leave a key card in at all times, as otherwise all electric goes off. Breakfast is alright...especially the omelettes and pancakes. Staff are all nice, but never had a pancake that didn't come with a smile, lovely lady serving them. Only fruit we saw was oranges. Nice coffee and mint tea. Hotel is nice and clean and the staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly, but in my opinion the best part of it is the pool area and grounds. It's all green, well kept, spotlessly clean, birds singing all day long, quite few white butterflys flying around....it's just heaven. Even though we normally prefer the beach, on this occasion, we have spend quite a bit of time relaxing by the pool. There is also free tennis table there, which we used every morning and free darts, free pool towels provided. There is no music around the pool, didn't bother us..very peaceful. Food at the pool bar is good and not expensive, staff serves you to your sunbed if that's what you want. They are not bothered if you bring your own snacks and drinks by the pool. Thank you Tildi for a nice stay.
