The hotel itself presents a welcoming array of traditional Antiguan style bungalows dotting the shoreline. Garden bungalows are twin or double an offer attractive garden views. All have en suite facilities and feature a safe, ceiling fan and mini fridge. Superior sea view rooms and bungalows are available at a supplement.
The Hawksbill offers a perfect mix of amenities to offer guests the chance to unwind as well as some choices for leisure and amusement. Absolutely worth every penny. Cabanas dont have tv, but that’s ok. Peaceful and tranquil. Plenty of activities to do. Advise to not purchase any excursions from those that are not affiliated with the resort. Check with the resort concierge.
Excellent and Peaceful Holiday
We have just returned from a wonderful and idyllic week staying at the Hawksbill Resort. We agree with all of the positive comments about the hotel and especially the staff. Nothing was too much trouble even when the evening restaurant was very busy. Wendy cooking the egg orders for breakfast has the widest smile for everyone even though she is working with a hot plate in high temperature. The beaches are all beautiful and the area around the pool has a lot of sun beds which are kept vacant when people leave them, knowing there will always be some available when they return. The resort has a high standard of cleanliness and there are obvious signs of discreet but hardworking maintenance. We were in room 139 which is a sea facing bungalow close to the Eden beach and a quiet, calm bay. We ventured onto the 'clothes optional' beach and found the visiting pigs hilarious as they cooled off in the sea. There was everything we needed in the room and it was always cleaned thoroughly every day. There is a TV, but we hardly watched it. We tried to remember to switch off the lights in the room and on the balcony when we left in the evening. This helped to prevent bugs gathering. Highlights of the week were our afternoon swims in the sea near the beach restaurant, enjoying all the food on offer and watching the sun set as we drank a beer on the balcony. We were so sad to leave and hope to return one day. Thank you to everyone working at the resort. You work hard and the results are appreciated.

Hesitant but Excellent!!
I was a bit hesitant at first to book because I had never heard of it before and because it sounded too good to be true. I booked, I was skeptical, I was expecting a dump, BUT it was actually wonderful. And SO affordable. Which is why I was so skeptical. It sounds too good to be true, but it was true!!! I am not a “foodie” in fact, I’m kind of picky. However, due to the wide variety of food, I always had something good to eat (and tried a lot of new things). They also label everything that is gluten free if that is something you may need to know.
Ultimately, if you’re traveling on a budget, and looking for rest and relaxation, Hawksbill has my vote. I’m also the type of person who never writes reviews if that holds any weight.
Relaxing, relaxing
When we arrived greeted with refreshing sparkling wine and cold towels, views were amazing after a long flight, journey from airport to hotel was about 30 mins,.porters took cases, we tipped up to you if U want to. Took to room we had superior seaview room, room 24 and the views were amazing at night u hear the tree frogs making a noise all night and is relaxing then as soon light breaks the birds start and the frogs go quiet. Very chilling place, in our opinion this is not a 3 we reckon at least a 4. Staff very friendly and attentive, David,dolton,Maria were really good, but all staff work very hard only remember some of their names, and are a credit to the hotel. Room was a good size and always kept clean and well stock with beverages. Fantastic selection of freshly made drinks, cocktails etc. nothing was too much trouble to make. The food we ate their was a selection for everybody good variety and freshly cooked. Beach was superb and a stones throw from our room. Infinity pool lovely and views beautiful. Waiters come round and get Ur drinks order, we tipped it,s up to U, they never ask for a tip. Always friendly always nice and polite that's all the staff. IMPROVEMENTS Lick of paint needed around the place. Bottom bar more fly zappers the one down their wasn't working, so high up in the point U have a beam coming down U can put one big fan or feeder off for 2 fans and that's in both side and more fly zappers that will calm it down. Topain restaurant more fans needed as not enough us and alot of other people got bit regular,.so this needs sorting. Upstairs in restaurant toilet needed as u have to go down Stairs this can be tricky after a few drinks and if it rained or raining, U get wet. That's says all outside toilets clean but need a lick of paint to bring up to standard. When I get to it room their is fly spray and my god it's good, so to stop flies and insects coming to Ur room outside spray door and all around seal of door and the same inside as well. Overall the most important question is would you go again and the answer is yes 101% again we cannot stress how nice and helpful all the staff are we would go again in a heartbeat, but take:- high strength bug spray, loperamide just incase, antihistamines, a bug plug in for your room. IMPORTANT When arriving at Antigua airport MAKE sure you have done the immigration forms which are available 72 hours before your flight, U will need these as they zap this before looking at Ur passport, keep is safe as needed when U leave. Drop.prices of massages as expensive, eating on the beach 300 dollars, cut that price that's high. We had the steak for 50 dollars each at pd,s had a shock when we went to pay as tax was added this needs to be put on menu so people can see. Overall beautiful hotel,amazing views, keep up the good work, if these improvements done the deffo a four star should be given.

Amazing resort give it a go
A fantastic resort the beaches are gorgeous and so clean. We stayed in a garden view bungalow which was lovely and was so clean. All the members of staff here are so friendly, happy and always smiling and look after you so well. The food was really good they do a different culture food every night the a la carte restaurant was amazing to. We really enjoyed the entertainment and the atmosphere. The infinity pool with the stunning sea view and private sunbathing platforms suited us perfectly This resort should definately be a 4 star resort and not a 3 star and we will be coming back next year.
