Trevell from the entertainment industry was amazing the entertainment was amazing I loved every bit of my stay. The rooms etc. However some customer service was quite low like at the crepe area little enthusiasm and hard to talk to certain staff. Some were very nice though.
Very good experience
Karlene was very nice at the Piano Bar. She made us feel very special, she was a highlight of our trip.

Day 1 of 9! - Rooms
After a 23 hour journey my wife and I arrived at reception and were allocated our "Superior Deluxe room with a balcony and sea views". We had a balcony and nice views.....just not a Superior Deluxe room by any standard.....barely 3 star. Vinyl worn off on the headboard, a Crack in the marble around the sink in the bathroom which had been filled with silicone, badly! The backing is coming off the back of the mirror in the bathroom, only one bathrobe and a tray outside the door which hadn't been removed from the previous occupant. I complained at reception and was allocated another room. Unfortunately and perversely, the headboard was in the exact same state.....how? Obviously short of bathrobes too.....just one again. I'll be speaking with the manager in the morning.
Poor dolphins
Trevell, Ardian, warreia, Jason and the rest of the entertainment team were absolutely fantastic and work so hard. They did a great job and they try to keep a Jamaican vibe each day, which is appreciated as a tourist from the UK and want to experience Jamaica.
The entertainment of a night is terrible. We saw 2 half decent shows during 7 nights. This is one of the worst hotels for night time entertainment. There is hardly anything happening. Me and my family were in bed by 10pm each night.
Andre and the main pool bar staff were amazing and kept the drinks coming every day. All of the bar staff I experienced were polite, friendly and very accommodating.
Staff at the buffet restaurant and Pier 8 were not so good and the service was mostly meh. A few went above and beyond but service was inconsistent. It was very hard most days to get a drink straight away. The staff in the buffet restaurant and Pier 8 seemed miserable and were not so friendly.
Around 80% of the staff I experienced were very friendly and went above and beyond.
The dolphins at the dolphin swim aren't mentioned enough in reviews and it is so cruel to keep them in the tiny enclosure theyre in. I didnt realise that they were actually in the hotel until my last day and saw how small the enclosure was. I think there's a minimum of 2 dolphins in the enclosure and its not even big enough for 1. For that reason alone I will not be returning to Moon Palace Jamaica.
