Best weekend ever
We had an amazing time.. the customer service was really awesome, they check on us at every turn. Shellen( not sure if that's how her name is spelled) our waitress was really great she works so hard and she does it with such grace and always with a smile. And our bartender Ray was really great too.. Definitely going back..
Great experience
Customer service and housekeeping top-notch.They were so hospitable, welcoming , and I had amazing experience as a solar traveler would definitely recommend.
It is a more quieter vibe effects.What you're interested in you do have access to the other properties if I felt like I wanted to party , I went to riu eggae

Riu Palace Montego Bay
I enjoyed the overall vibe at this resort but the decor was outdated and the beds were so hard. Towards the end of the trip I got sick , I may have had food poisoning. The staff was super friendly and personable. The rooms and decor seem to be a lot more upscale at the Montego Bay next to us, but the Palace is supposed to be doing renovations at the end of this month.
Amazing relaxing stay, giving you 3 options of resorts. Well worth it!
Just came back from a trip with my amazing gf. We booked this a bit last minute so the price might have been a bit higher than it should be we enjoyed every minute.
Staying at the palace is very much more relaxed than reggae or Montego Bay. When we arrived we decided to upgrade to a beach front elite package. This was worth it for the view and location right next to the elite pool which was not busy at all so we went there to enjoy alone time at the pool or cabanas near the beach for a dip.
Life hack I would recommend trying to book the cheaper package and then upgrade when you get there it seemed a lot cheaper to do it that way.
The staff was great and amenities were good, the room was nice and clean and pretty modern. But I heard palace is getting a remodel and will be closed.
We really enjoyed palace a lot and you get what you pay for. If you are used to really nice expensive resorts this is not that, it is cheaper for a reason. I don’t understand the negative reviews.
Now, if you stay at Montego Bay and are not expecting a YOUNG party vibe, don’t stay there. At Montego Bay it seemed very crowded and packed.
If you stay at reggae it was more relaxed but still a bit party vibe and more packed than palace. I loved reggae because of the classic reggae music that they were playing, it’s really loud and we loved it. Pool was never too crowded except for the foam party.
We also attended one of the dream weekend events. That was amazing and fun we really enjoyed it and felt really safe. Shoutout to the people hosting for providing a great environment for all to enjoy, they really know how to throw a festival
If you like to party a bit but like to come back to a chill area and not over crowded, stay at the palace! Shoutout to the staff everyone was so friendly, the entertainment team are too cool man. Everyone was great and friendly. We tried to tip as much as we could.
Entertainment and Customer Service
It’s my first time there, I loved the staff and the entertainment the most. I also enjoyed the music that was played at the swim up bar. Otis was amazing, he helped me out over by the buffet. I was clueless and he was so welcoming, knowledgeable and kind. He helped me picked what to eat, and assisted with bringing me drinks. 10/10 Otis is as asset!. Shoutout to Teddy & the entire entertainment team. Their vibe is unmatched! Great staff and great team. Everyone is so kind.
The hotel itself was very aesthetically pleasing however I believe there are just too many chairs. It feels cramped especially the beach & by the main stage.
I had no issues when it comes to cleanliness , it was really clean. Shoutout to Otis and Teddy.
