Could not be better
This was our second stay at the SB Viceroy and won't be our last. We've been there once with our children and this most recent time with friends for a 50th bday. The setting and property are better than photos . The service could not have been better, the people of this island are some of the most welcoming we've experienced. Our butlers Luis and Michael were absolutely outstanding and constantly went above and beyond. Every single person we encountered at the property were just so pleasant and welcoming. Top notch from beginning to end. We had a fantastic driver to the airport, Barry was such a delight to chat with and shared his knowledge and love of the island- we don't like to repeat destinations often but the Viceroy at SB is an exception. One of our favorite islands in the Caribbean. The restaurant options on and off property were plentiful, don't skip the burger bar on property for lunch; cocktails and a lovely view, a perfect lunch after we hiked the Piton We can' t wait to visit again. Thank you to all for another perfect experience!!!!

Incredible Milestone Birthday at Sugar Beach
Sugar Beach - A Viceroy resort, was such a wonderful stay. From the attentiveness of the Concierge that booked our on-property dinner reservations, off property reservations, transportation and excursions before arrival - top tier. They decorated the room with a banner, balloons, and we were greeted with Rose, macaroons and St Lucian snacks upon arrival. The butler staff is so accommodating and truly very helpful. The shuttle service to and from your room to other parts of the resort was helpful, bc it's a large property. The best meal we had was at the Cane Bar - the short ribs were superb, still dreaming about it and then breakfast at the Terrace Restaurant was wonderful bc they were able to accommodate all my food allergies. Spa was fantastic and just a surreal experience, it was a very welcomed massage after hiking the Gros Piton. The staff is incredibly friendly and I can't wait to go back!

Review of The Residence at Sugar Beach, St Lucia
Our stay at The Residence at Sugar Beach was completely unexpected, but it turned out to be the highlight of our trip.
After our British Airways flight was cancelled, we needed to find accommodation at short notice. We were incredibly fortunate to book a villa at Sugar Beach. On arrival, the manager, Nick, went above and beyond by upgrading us to The Residence, a gesture of kindness that completely changed what had been a very stressful situation.
The Residence is simply spectacular. The villa was beautifully appointed, spacious, and offered breathtaking views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea. Waking up to those views each morning was something we’ll never forget. Every detail of the villa reflected luxury and comfort, making it feel like a true home away from home.
A special thank you must go to our butler, Charles, who was outstanding throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he made us feel like we were genuinely part of the Sugar Beach family rather than just guests. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable.
The entire team at Sugar Beach were welcoming and attentive, and despite arriving under difficult circumstances, they turned our disappointment into an unforgettable experience. The beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, and peaceful atmosphere made it incredibly difficult to leave.
Thank you to Nick, Charles, and everyone at Sugar Beach for your kindness and hospitality. What started as a disrupted journey ended with one of the most memorable and enjoyable stays we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return.

Amazing family holiday at Sugar Beach
We had an amazing stay at Sugar Beach, staying in a wonderful Beachfront Collection villa. The views are simply breathtaking and our villa's location right on the beach was amazing and very close to their South Pier where they serve the wonderful Jetty Burgers.
Our butler, and was absolutely brilliant, the kids were quite demanding but he sorted everything out, from Piton beers, to daily delivery of baby food. Can’t praise their butler service too highly he really made our stay special.
Sugar Beach have really upped their game over the last couple of years, service across the resort was excellent and the resort itself was in great condition everything was neat and tidy and well maintained. The restaurants were also excellent, the food standard across their four venues (Bonte, Jalouise Grill, Cane Bar and Saltwood) was exceptionally high. We did a private BBQ dinner in the villa, which was very enjoyable.
Overall, an amazing stay, in my opinion one of the best resorts in the Caribbean.
Stunning Sugar Beach
When visiting St Lucia I definitely recommend visiting Sugar Beach. Kudos if you stay there but we were on the other end of the island & made the 1hr drive (well worth it). It exceeded expectations. Swim in the Caribbean Sea between the gorgeous Pitons. It is truly a dream come true!! Non residents can use some chairs for free on the beach; a shuttle down costs $10 (can’t remember if that’s EC or USD). We ate lunch at the restaurant & if you keep your receipt you get the shuttle back to your vehicle for free. Service was exceptional, everything was super clean.
