This is one of the Caribbean's most romantic resorts set amidst a 600 acre lush tropical estate with 2 soft sand beaches, 8000 feet of Caribbean coastline and breathtaking views of St. Lucia's twin Piton mountains rising out of the calm Caribbean Sea. This property has an unique rooms and tropical hardwood furniture have been personally designed by the architect owner, and all blend harmoniously with the environment and nature. Even the resort bathrobes are locally made and have become a popular souvenir item. 1 ½ miles north of the town of Soufriere, and near most of the island's major sightseeing attractions.

Incredible stay at anse chastanet
We had an incredible stay at anse chastanet. I did a lot of research about the resort prior to arriving but I will say the actual facility and services are better than what I could see on the internet. I booked the package through costco travel including the all inclusive food option.
I would highly recommend this package. The all inclusive iption was exceptional. Essentially everything regarding food/drink at the resort was covered except a few things which were clearly demarcated. The food options were excellent. We had room 4B which had a great view of the pitons and the beach. The room had excellent amenities and the staff provided everything such as extension cables, bug spray, extra fans, coffee daily, dryer, steamer, lock. The rooms are not air conditioned and visiting in september can be quite hot but the extra fans made it manageable. Additionally the bug spray was helpful.
Regarding the resort facilities, the two beaches at the resort are incredible, excellent snorkeling opportunities and complimentary non motorized water activities. We wetn kayaking, paddle boarding, and even sailed a small boat. The beach is down from the resort but there were frequent shuttles down when called and it was not an issue. The concierge was excellent in hleping sign up for excursions/activities. Specifically would recommend the thursday sunset jazz cruise. Also the service of everyone from the restaurants, bars, scuba center were excellent. Large drink menu with wide variety of drink options. PLenty of shaded beach chairs/beds for resort guests. Also the free access to the gym at jade mountain is nice.
Additionally location is stunning, the ride there from soufriere is alittle rough with over 2 miles of unpaved steep roads but again totally not an issue given that you hardly have to leave the resort. Within 30 mins from the facility are most of the main tourist attractions of St. Lucia.
Overall I would 100% return to Anse chastanet. I cannot recommend highly enough. Easily one of the best

The resort is beautiful, and the staff is exceptional. Everyone is attentive and does their best to make sure you have a fantastic experience. The rooms are lovely, and have beautiful views, though it was VERY hot. I would pay the upgrade to get a room with a/c if I return to the resort.

It wasn't bad, Soufrière is beautiful, but I'll choose another resort.
Great service but average meal.
Went to the main restaurant for food as we were guest in the beach today. The food was average compared to the rest of the island and was bad value for money. One the other hand the drinks were lovely and staff were exceptional.

Honeymoon, first time in St. Lucia
We went for our honeymoon. It was our first time in St. Lucia. Overall, our trip was very good to excellent in range. The only thing was that the rooms were not as cool as they ideally should be for sleeping purposes. The fans helped a lot and we were upgraded and it was a wonderful view (could NOT get more perfect of a view as it made our entire experience!) I think there were just a few nights when it was too hot once we woke up and during the day it was hard to stay there since it was too hot so we went down to the beach.
The food was excellent. Most of our meals were 10/10.
The service was also great and most everyone there was friendly and had a personality and smile.
Overall, definitely recommend for a honeymoon. I just wouldn't be back again because I want to be in a cool room for my sleep. Perhaps others would be more comfortable! For context I am a New York native born and raised, and have also lived in Florida for 2 years, Scotland, UK for 1 year, and Wilmington, NC for 3 years.
Noise level is fairly moderate but you will have nature noise. We loved that aspect and loved listening to the tree frogs chirping at night along with the birds. They do provide eye masks and ear plugs for your comfort but I never needed the ear plugs. The fans also made a nice white noise effect.
The atmosphere was romantic and tranquil and very nature-focused. I'm not sure if it's worth all of the full thousands it cost to stay there. One might get a slightly more bang for their buck elsewhere, but I truly have no idea and haven't done the research. This is the only resort I've stayed at on St. Lucia. For additional context, I've stayed at Paradise Island, Bahamas at Harborside Resort Timeshares as well as the Atlantis hotel, The Vanderbuilt Resort in Puerto Rico, Lotte Hotel in NYC, but I've also stayed in budget friendly motels, standard mid-level comfort inns, and hostels all over the world.
All in all, no regrets and would 100% have picked this again for our honeymoon!
