We are currently staying at the Royal Palm. Our room is just gorgeous with an awesome view. The staff are so accommodating and quickly resolve any issues. Facilities here are great with so many choices. The Promenade is a great walk. We would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely give it a 5 star rating. Thankyou Royal Palm.

This hotel shares the same facilities as Royal Ariston, Blue and Princess. Overall there is nothing hugely wrong with the hotel- however it 100% is NOT 5 star. Both in terms of facilities, service and consistency.
The sun loungers are old, dated and uncomfortable. The lounge areas lack any decor or 5 * feel. Just cheap plastic loungers dumped on concrete.
When ordering food from restaurants to be brought to the loungers, the orders would often be cancelled as items were missing but you wouldnt be notified. So, you are sat waiting for 45 minutes for a drink that never comes. When ordering food, we would ask for ketchup, for example. To be told there isnt any! I would then leave the pool and walk down to the restaurant myself and find ketchup- the waitors just couldnt be bothered to bring it. We would also sometimes ask for condiments and they would simply never arrive. Drinks are brought to you in cheap paper cups that go soggy within 5 minutes. Noone came around to clean the cups and food containers away. They would sit around the loungers for hours and bins would be overflowing with rubbish.
Public areas were scruffy and often used as storage/ a dumping ground for equipment. Not suitable for an expensive 5* resort
The gyms lack a variety of equipment and many of the machines are broken.
Myriad broken things and leaking ceilings around the hotel.
Cleaners would sometimes leave cleaning products behind in our room. Somedays we would get teabags replenished, some days not. Service is just inconsistent.
The whole place is run down and scruffy. The location/ view is amazing. It is an average hotel. It is not 5* in any way.
Dinner at the Royal Palms was awful for all 6 of us . Breakfast excellent.
We’ve just got back from a fabulous ten night stay in the Royal Palm hotel. The room was ready when we got there just before 11.00am. Seamless booking in an our room was a few steps away from the reception. When we opened the door we were blown away with the size of it. I knew it was a suite I’d booked and it was extremely spacious. The lounge area was extremely big with a cloakroom with a big shower in it. The bedroom had a massive bed with ample cupboards, wardrobes and an en-suite with a bath, toilet, bidet etc. A big balcony lead off this room. We booked on a half board basis. The breakfasts were fantastic, with tastes to suit everyone. The evening meal offering was also very good, with ample choices. There were at least four themed nights during our stay - a BBQ night, an Italian night etc. Great salad bar and food that was varied every night and hot. We met a lovely couple so one night we had a pizza in one of the many themed on site restaurants. The weather was wall to wall sunshine except for one afternoon when we had light rain for an hour or so. Probably the best part of the hotel was the staff, from the guys who sorted Sun loungers & towels every morning, to the bar staff and especially the waitresses in the morning and evening. I must mention Alexandra - who had my bacon and eggs ready and waiting even before I’d got my toast ready - Josko, Ivan and Mia etc. Nothing was too much trouble and they all seemed to have constant smiles. We will go back again.
