Great experience
We had a wonderful stay and were extremely pleased with everything. Our sea-view room was beautiful, luxurious and very comfortable. The service was excellent, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere and facilities were outstanding. We were also pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable prices, especially considering that this is a five-star hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return. Highly recommended!
A wonderful stay
I visited in June and again September 2026. On both visits the staff ensured I had a wonderful stay. As a solo traveller I felt incredibly well looked after. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was lovely. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing with the staff at the poolside bar being an absolute highlight by looking after me so well, remembering my drinks order and always finding time for a chat. I would highly recommend and hope to be able to visit again.

Just gets better each time
Having stayed at this hotel regularly I was appalled to read a recent review critsising the staff. I have never experienced discourtesy or unhelpfulness regarding staff members. I am currently staying at the RA on my second visit this year and in my opinion the staff are the best I have had the pleasure experincing. I concur with previous positive reviews that the RA concentrate on customer service to the full. I will not allow the negativiy from just one individual to put me off my retuning visits.

Simply the Best!!!!
We are fast approaching the end of our sixth visit to the Royal Apollonia Hotel and we believed it would be hard to improve on our previous visits, however, the overall service and customer consideration has just got better. It would be wrong of me to single out every individual, I have therefore picked out heads of departments as this hotel runs on teamwork and high morale. Reception. From booking in and throughout our stay we witnessed a “nothing is too much trouble” attitude, all performed with a smile on their faces and a willingness to help when and where they could. I will mention Ibrahim, as he immediately recognised me on arrival and proved to be our go to person in that department.
Housekeeping. Conducted in a superbly quick and efficient manner thus allowing guests maximum access and time to their rooms.
Hotel Bar. A superb area to relax with a coffee or alcoholic beverage any time of day or night. The service is quick, efficient and conducted in the friendliest of manners always ensuring the customers needs are met. Andreas leads in a quiet manner recognising customer needs at all times.
Restaurants. The main restaurant serves breakfast & dinner and the format is delivery by a self service buffet. Breakfast caters for all nations and the choice and magnitude provides guests with the perfect start to the day. The staff are well drilled by the highly efficient and professional, Raphael, I am more than happy to suggest that the current team are the best we have ever seen at the Royal Apollonia. The same can be said for the ‘à la carte’ lunch time restaurant under the control of Olga, a varied menu superbly cooked and presented consistently throughout.
Pool Bar. The hub of daytime activity superbly managed and maintained by Hamdy, a young man who’s enthusiasm spreads to all who work around him. Once again all RA personnel try their utmost to meet customers needs and requests.
Pool Area. Amman & Roy work tirelessly arranging and manoeuvring pool furniture to suit customer needs. Management. Paulina continues to run the tightest of ships, ably assisted by Yiorgos, they lead by example and are always available through ought an operational day.
Prior to concluding I have to mention the overall attitude and behaviour regarding certain guests from another country. I have been appalled by the total disrespect for Royal Apollonia personnel throughout our stay. The lack of compliments and gratitude beggared belief. Rude is the mildest of terms I can use as a descriptive, Royal Apollonia personnel are powerless when dealing with such anti social behaviour, the Louis Group hierarchy should back their staff instead of allowing such unruly behaviour.
In conclusion the Royal Apollonia remains my favourite hotel destination in Cyprus and I’m planning visit number seven soon. I will not allow the minor, indeed negative element deter me from retuning soon.
