Atlantica Mare Village Ayia Napa

Just come home from a lovely holiday with my partner 2 children one is 4 and the other 2. very honest review. Pros: Beautiful hotel, very clean. Aesthetically pleasing. Gorgeous sandy beach water is shallow so you can swim out to the rocks. Cocktail are great, have anything you want. Our favourite pool was the one with the swim up bar which both my children absolutely loved too, by 3:30ish they usually have a dj who plays music at the pool which is nice. They also have big beds which are perfect for the children as they have shade. There is also a lovely little round kids pool here which is perfect for little ones and even has a shaded cover. The pool by the main restaurant is also nice. Amazing walking paths all around hotel for pushing babies to sleep, I enjoyed my little stroll around getting my little boy to sleep. Loads of sunbeds in September so there was no mad rush to put towels down. Can’t really fault the food it’s just usual buffet food, nothing really stood out compared to other all inclusive restaurants I’ve been too, maybe I expected something more with it being 5* The other restaurants was lovely too. We did eat out on the last night at Sage in Ayia Napa and had amazing steak 🥩 fillet steak £35 euros which I thought was great value and it was beautiful. So highly recommended. Staff in the lobby bar were amazing Charlotte and kristof AMAZING too class service and very friendly. Rooms was cleaned everyday. Our room was amazing we had a family room with 2 bathrooms and a large double balcony. STUNNING! And small see view. We was 2nd floor of the apartment! We didn’t have a swim up pool personally think they’re pointless as you share them with 2/3 other Vila’s. Snack bar next to Italian was great. You can order and take it back to your bed, Korean chicken and spring rolls was my favourite. I did have a massage too which was full body and mini facial £140 it was a lovely treat and highly recommend, very professional and lovely atmosphere. HIGHLIGHT OF THE HOLIDAY Was taking a boat trip to see turtle bay, we did one called glass bottom and it only 2 hours. I took both my young children on including a pram which my youngest one slept in. And we swam with the turtles which was incredible.

Downfalls Children’s entertainment wasn’t great, I’ve been to a few all inclusive holidays and I thought it was very poor in comparison. Also it was above the spar so felt very separate and out of the way. Obviously little kids don’t mind it but for adults or older children it’s really terrible.

We didn’t go in the sky lounge as we had the 2 children with us and its adult only, but again just music quiet. Ice cream truck rubbish tbh not much choice of ice cream, again aesthetically pleaseing but not very convenient when your children just want to sit at the pool and have an ice cream, you have to walk to the ice cream truck which isn’t very close. Lobby bar had a singer or someone playing an instrument, very relaxing nothing to get you up and want to have a dance. So it’s great if you want chilled out background noise. We found the evenings rather boring entertainment wise. And also nothing really in the day. ( bingo or some kind of entertainment to engage adults would be great. I think this really lets the hotel down. So I probably wouldn’t go back again due to this which is a shame because the hotel ticked all the other boxes. I would recommend this hotel to people it really was beautiful as long as you don’t mind minimal entertainment.

The spa experience was wonderful, right from booking all the way through to the massage. The massage was the best I’ve ever had! Thank you to Liza the wonderful therapist.
