We literally booked a last minute 2 night get away after a lovely cruise. Considering where the hotel is, there isnt much near by. However.. for 2 nights half board was €275. We had a beach/sea view room on the 2nd floor. The room was tidy and bed was comfortable. The hotel itself is very small but very chilled and relaxed. Most spoke perfect English and very helpful. Food I was pleasantly surprised they arent busier as food was top notch. Just a few things, staff are of younger age and some I find are a little less experienced. Especially for eating, just to ask how the meal is and if we like water. I found I had to find someone to get me water with my meal. Other issue pool only opened from 8.30 and strict 5.30pm. Not sure if it was heated or due to the significant heatwave but it was lovely to dip in. The beach is a 1 minute walk across from hotel, the sea is full of swimmers from 6am till late at night by locals. The sea is lovely and warm and clean. It was a nice little get away and its a secret gem that would be lovely for people to get away too. We would definitely be back, but once road works and pathways are fixed as was noisy during our stay.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had.Guests are not allowed to bring outside food or drinks into the hotel. The staff claimed that, according to their "safety protocol," takeaway deliveries are forbidden and guests cannot purchase food or drinks elsewhere and bring them into the hotel room. This policy is unreasonable and very inconvenient. The room was dirty, and the bathroom was filthy with a strong, unpleasant smell. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Breakfast was awful—I'd rate it 1/10. There were no scrambled eggs, the food selection was very limited, and it was served on plastic plates, which made the experience feel cheap. The parking area is extremely cramped, making it difficult to park. On top of that, the hotel charges an extra £7 just to use the internet on the TV, which is ridiculous considering Wi-Fi and smart TV access are standard at most hotels. Overall, this hotel offers very poor value for money. I certainly would not recommend anyone stay here. It was a horrendous experience from start to finish
We had a really lovely stay at this hotel in Cyprus. The atmosphere was relaxed, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming throughout our visit. A special mention has to go to Sanja at the bar—she made some of the best coffees we had during our stay. Always friendly and attentive, she really added a personal touch to our experience. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere warm, friendly, and easy to unwind. We’d happily come back again.
I went out to Cyprus for a week (7 days) by myself to escape from our terrible Irish winter weather. Not a time of year to be guaranteed sunshine in Cyprus but I had a few nice 20 degree days and the rest were ok too. Last day it poured down. Hotel was magnificent. They sorted out a problem I had with wifi by changing me to a different room on the first night. I had not yet unpacked so that was easy. The food was all self service but I loved it and probably ate too much during my stay. I had safe parking for my rental car and the hotel helped me to rent a bike for my week long stay. Beach is just outside the hotel but it was too cold to do any swimming and my back problem was at me again so I decided not to do that. I made a mistake in my booking and required to add another night before I checked out and that was no problem. So a lovely clean fresh hotel. Only slight nag I would have is that like a lot of mediterranean and european hotels they still don't seem to know what food Irish and UK people prefer especially for breakfast like marmalade and proper sausages and proper UK style tea bags.
The Lebay hotel has left such an impression on us we have now come back again .We stayed there 3weeks ago , all I can say is the atmosphere the easiness of it , especially all the staff from reception to cleaning are so warm and friendly ,nothing is a problem .Very clean inside and out meters away from the sea with an amazing coastal walk . We will always come back here it’s like coming home . Sue and Emilio PANAYI
