Fantastic place
6th time at this hotel. superior suit. Hotel is immaculately clean and fresh. Reception ladies and night duty men are all really nice ,friendly ,helpful. They deserve a special mention as they turn a hotel dealing with customers into a second home dealing with friends type of feeling. It was great returning there after the beach or evening meal,you feel welcome...Rooms are very large, air conditioning is excellent, tea ,sugar,coffee provided in sachets, 2 ring cooker and microwave. and sufficient cooking utensils etc to cook basic meals if you wish. Enough storage space. Beds are very big and very comfortable ,as are the pillows .Nice modern bathroom,huge shower both rainfall and handheld, hot water at all times.Nice soft towels . Cleaners are excellent ,room was cleaned every day to a high standard ,they even did my washing up which they don’t have to ! Lovely ladies .Very good ..Good balcony for 2 people,3 at a stretch ,table ,two chairs and drying rail. Cleaned every day and ashtray emptied and washed by cleaners. I’ve stayed at several places in Protaras over the years. Capo Bay is the most expensive. The difference is the rooms there are a lot smaller,the air condition isn’t nearly as good,the cleaners are no where near as efficient and you are treated as a just another customer ,in the Alva even the cleaners treat you are a friend. I wouldn’t go anywhere else even at half the price. Highly recommended.

Gr8 holiday
We came back a week ago from the Alva we had a good time near all the bars and entertainment and a shot walk to fig tree beach! The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels to be honest the rooms were spotless. Breakfast ok nothing exciting but we hardly paid extra for it! Pool bar ok could be a bit of music and atmosphere around the pool the bar closed around 4.00. But the pizza restaurant a joined is lovely best pizza around and you can get drinks from there! We will definitely be back x

don’t stay in room 53 unless you want ants in your food, clothes and bed. when we went to reception about this issue they didn’t seem to care and just gave us some bug spray. the housekeepers walk in without warning even with the do not disturb on the door. the only positives were the location and the pool.
lovely clean apartments
Lovely clean hotel on arrival we had been upgraded to one of the suites lovely clean apartment with two bedrooms bathrrom and a little kitchen with table and chairs. We had a view of the carpark off the balcony but didnt mind as we were hardly in the accommodation. The cleaners in this accommodation are amazing, clean your room every day and do a very good job. you do have the usual sun bed wars and need to be up by 8 to get a sunbed and i did feel there wasnt enough sunbeds for all guests, pool area was lovely and clean. they do have a little bar by the pool although staff didnt seem very friendly, i went to flox bar behind the pool staff lovely and friendly and serve amazing pizzas. we were self catering and would reccommend a few restaurants, sonjas, raj indian, american diner,and marcellos italian all amazing. we loved the fools and horses bar just up from the hotlel which sells nice bar food.

Nothing short of amazing hotel, and staff.
Been coming to the same hotel for 13 years, why change when you already revdive everything and more than you asked for. Stunning rooms, stunning views, stunning location, amd amazing staff. We always go for the suite self catering, as there's loads of cafes and bars literally on your doorsteps. But if you wish, like we do, we have a few meals on the balcony and watch the sun go down.
Will never been able to say enough about this amazing hotel and staff.
Thank you for all the years of lovely memories, and simply bei g able to relax by the pool.
Special mention to Pizza Flozlx literally on the front porch area of the hotel, best pizzas and cocktails on thw strip. Again, great staff.
Here now for 7 more days,and we'll be back again next year. Says it all.
