Recently refurbished air-conditioned/heated en suite rooms have a balcony and feature satellite TV with English video channel, music system, telephone, hairdryer, safe#, iron and board#, use of empty minibar, FREE Wi-Fi, beach towels and tea/coffee making facilities. The Local Area
The Cavo Maris is a popular hotel, located in a beautiful, unspoiled, seafront location in Protaras, amongst extensive grass lawns and beautiful gardens which run down to a safe beach with fine golden sand and crystal clear sea water, awarded the blue flag. Within 2 minutes walk, there are 2 more secluded beautiful beaches. The Famous 'Fig Tree Bay' beach, at the Resort centre, is about 1.5 km down the road (15 minutes walk). A local bus service is available to the centre of Protaras (1.5 km) and Paralimni, the biggest town of the area (9 km), or to the nearby bustling resort of Ayia Napa (9 km). Larnaca International Airport is about 59 km away.

We stayed at Cavo Maris Hotel from July 25th to August 1st, which we booked through a Czech travel agency. We asked for a quiet, non-smoking room when booking, and they delivered—a big shoutout to the hotel management for that! The hotel is super close to the sea, though it doesn't have its own private beach. We just relaxed on the hotel's sun loungers right by the beach, only about 30–40 meters from the water, so we were really happy with everything. The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping was done regularly and top-notch. The food was really varied, with fish, seafood, and local dishes served every day. Everything tasted delicious! We had no communication issues with the staff at all; any questions or minor misunderstandings were resolved completely hassle-free. All in all, we wanted a high-quality beach vacation in a great hotel, and we got exactly what we came for. This is probably the very first hotel we’d genuinely love to come back to.
Great Hotel
Second visit to this hotel (first in july 2023). Hotel had had a renovation since our last visit and really good improvements to the pool and surrounding area. Love the pool loungers and the jacuzzi for over 18's - lifeguards were great at monitoring this too. Plenty of sunloungers around the grounds - lovely to not have to fight to secure a lounger. Bar staff, both main bar and around the pool, were friendly & helpful. We had the Ultra AI package and the food available at all the restaurant options was amazing - although portions were huge in both the H Taverna and Burger place !!!!
Evening entertainment suited our needs, family of 4 adults, so live music at the main bar was perfect. Rooms were clean and catered for everything we needed. Plenty of plug sockets and draw/wardrobe space. Reception staff were very helpful. We had a late departure and the use of the rooms to be able to change was great.
We like the location of this hotel - walkable to Protaras for an evening stroll (15/20 mins) and easy cab ride to Aiya Napa.

Gorgeous hotel with fabulous facilities
Setting is right on the beach. There is the option to eat at the restaurants within the complex and we ate at the Argo burger bistro one night which was lovely. It is a short bus journey into Protaras centre and costs €1-€2. Rooms are spotless and cleaning staff are constantly cleaning areas such as the restaurant and reception area, even in the height of summer the cleaning standards are extremely high. Rooms are modern and comfortable, with the screen control panel beside the bed to control lights and air conditioning temperature making the rooms feel more luxurious and up to date. Breakfast has a good selection and something for everyone. Overall, the view is really what makes this hotel stand out and i will definitely be returning.

Beautiful hotel
This was an amazing hotel, very clean and the staff were amazing all round! Will 100% return in the future.
I was very pleasantly surprised.
Hello. I was there for the first time. With my family. A week. I really liked everything. Especially a lot of free entertainment for children: darts, archery, bowling, football, basketball, dancing in the pool and the like. Everything according to the schedule and under supervision :) I rested and had fun myself :) The hotel also helped with buggy rental and organizing boat excursions. Great. And the food is very good. Thanks to all the kitchen staff. Tasty and fresh. Digestion is great :) I also received a cake and birthday wishes. The hotel staff is very nice :)
