Surrounded by delightful gardens, the modern beach hotel Crystal Springs is ideally located close to the beach on the outskirts of Protaras on the east coast of Cyprus. The Pernera area is within walking distance, while the centre of Protaras and Paralimni can be reached within a short drive. A bus stop for the local bus service is just outside of the hotel. Larnaca International Airport is 49 km away. The hotel offers bright rooms in a contemporary design with fresh colours. All of them enjoy side or front sea views and feature air-conditioning and a private balcony. Services and amenities include an outdoor pool and a tennis court. This hotel is one of the few hotels in Cyprus with an on-site Scuba diving centre. The restaurant serves delicious local and international cuisine, and guests can enjoy a drink at one of the two bars. A wonderful beach hotel both for couples and families.

Fabulous holiday
A lovely, worry-free stay at Crystal Springs We recently had a holiday at Crystal Springs and came away really impressed, particularlywith the staff. They were all incredibly kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our granddaughter has multiple allergies, whichmeans both she and my daughter have quite strictdietary requirements. Having previously travelled tothe Canaries in April and had an awful experiencewhere my daughter struggled to find anything she could safely eat, we were understandably worried that we might face the same situation at Crystal Springs. Thankfully, things couldn’t have been more different. The staff went above and beyond to make surethey were both well looked after. The chef, Kryios, was absolutely fantastic. Every evening he would walk around the food with my daughter, explainingexactly what she could eat, and if there wasn’t anything she felt comfortable with, he would oftenprepare a separate meal for her. He also cookedfood for our baby granddaughter every evening, taking great care to avoid any cross-contamination. This gave us enormous peace of mind and meant we could actually relax and enjoy our holiday. The pool bar staff were equally helpful, going out of their way at lunchtime to make sure my daughter and granddaughter had plenty of suitable food. Their kindness and understanding really made such a difference to our stay. The hotel is currently undergoing some building work, but the noise was minimal and it didn’t impact our holiday at all. The beach area is lovely. The sandy section isquite small, but it was more than big enough for building sandcastles, and the sea in thebay is calm enough to swim right out. Overall, what really stood out for us was thegenuine care from the staff. They made what could have been a very stressful holiday, given the dietary restrictions, feel easy and enjoyable. A huge thank you to all of the staff, especially the pool bar manager, Anastasia, and the restaurant manager, Emily — and especially Kryios, who went above and beyond to makesure my daughter and granddaughter weresafe, comfortable and well looked after.

Excellent stay by the sea
We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Springs! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the gardens and pool areas were beautiful. Highly recommend it!
It just gets better and will be even better next year.
We stayed for 6 nights in October 2025 which I reviewed so we took the plunge and booked 2 weeks for September 2026, and all I can say is "WOW".
From the moment we arrived and over the coming days, 99% of the Staff from the previous year greeted us like we were family, and noted a hell of a lot of returning Customers similar which seems most people return here year in year out.
One thing you do note is how engaging the Staff are, where you can chat for ages with them, from the Restaurants, Bars, to the Managers, and to our surprise the owners whom attended by keeping a low profile to observe the day to day running suddenly made themselves known to us when I assumed they were guests, fantastic people.
The food really is on point, especially the Cypriot Cuisine where our fussy expectations as Cypriots from the UK, they absolutely smashed it ( one suggestion I would add is to have more Cypriot themed evenings being Cyprus and a lot of people from what we gathered really loved the local food ).
Having said this, Yialos Pool Bar did serve the authentic dishes daily, where we tended to head there as the Buffet, although really nice, we found ourselves over indulging with everything. Look out for fish of the day, Fridays King Prawn Day was the best.
The rooms and Hotel is spotless, and one thing which was great, booking with Jet2, when you check out on the last day, they take your luggage for you, then you can enjoy the who day until you leave for the airport using the facilities and food and drinks until you leave.
One touching moment from Chris was telling us how everyone thought highly of us as people, but in hindsight, you treat people how they treat you, and as far as we are concerned, we felt like house guests, not hotel guests.
All being well, we will return, and looking forward to seeing the new wing, facilities, and Pools God willing.
A little pointer, especially for Cypriots. Breakfast, they serve Soujoukous, Tachinopittes, and Glyka. Yialos Pool Bar serve Kalamari, Souvlakia, Brizoles, Lounza and Halloumi ( so if you are not keen on the Buffets and prefer Cypriot food, theres many choices ), not to mention their Burgers.

Hotel you want to come back to!
This hotel offers incredible service and has such a wonderful team. Everyone is extremely attentive to detail and always ready to help whenever you need it.
I was especially impressed by the fresh pastries and the delicious, beautifully presented dishes in the restaurant. Everything was fresh, tasty and truly enjoyable.
And the live music every day around the bar and the main restaurant creates such a wonderful atmosphere! 🎶✨
I’m already looking forward to our next visit! ❤️
