This unique resort complex is situated right on the coast and surrounded by beautiful and expansive landscaped gardens. The area is fantastic for diving, and the resort has its own scuba diving school. Guests can relax on the sun terrace by the impressive outdoor swimming pool, swim in the exotic indoor swimming pool cave, enjoy a massage in the spa with sauna, Jacuzzi and steam bath, or play a game of squash, tennis, or beach volleyball. There is also a children's playground, a gym and a games room onsite for added entertainment and convenience. The resort provides double rooms and spacious one-bedroom suites, allowing room for families to stretch out and unwind. Each suite includes a comfortable lounge, en suite bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen with dining table, and a large balcony. Guests will delight in the rich and varied buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant and can sip a drink at the poolside bar. The perfect place for a laidback Mediterranean holiday.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have spent a week here in a 2 bed apartment . On first impression if you’ve done 5 stars it’s aesthetically not that standard however it is very clean and practical. I have never been in such a good location and had everything just so easy like taking kids to the beach can be a nightmare humping everything , but here it’s 2 minutes from the pool beds so can wonder up and down . We hired a car and the hotel has a car park right at reception . The pool is a few minutes away from the apartments so nothing is to far to walk in the heat , Breakfast was nice we were only bnb . Fair few options and fresh omelettes outside which we didn’t notice untill day 5 so is easily missed. The cleaners are amazing room cleaned daily. Honestly I’ve stayed in some very swanky places but this one we’ve had the most amazing family holiday at, pools are great and warm . I would most deffo return . The 2 bed apartments are very spacious having children with a big age gap teen and tot it’s been perfect for us in every way . Your not far from protaras town for food are aiya napa so there’s plenty to do and see .
Stayed here mid to late July. Lovely resort, lovely staff and a great location sort walk to local restaurants etc. Great transport links along the main road to local resorts too. We booked the superior one bed suite. I have to say this is the most comfortable sleep I have ever had anywhere. The maid service was first class and excellent - really hard working and very much appreciated Teda. The pool prices for food and drink were far too expensive given the prices just a short walk away so disappointed we have to leave most days for lunch. I have to also say the breakfast here were beautiful fresh healthy produce and variety was the best I have ever seen. Local honey was to die for! Sunbeds are allocated for your whole stay, this was okay because luckily we were given a great spot. The only problem we had was the family above with toddlers who would drag the breakfast bar stools around the living space causing a terrible noise and slam drawers and doors constantly and also drag the patio furniture. it may be be handy for the hotel to attach rubber stoppers on the furniture stools feet to avoid this happening in future. It was really bad at times.
We have stayed at Malama Beach Holiday Village several times before (in 2023, 2024 and now again), so we have a good basis for comparison. First of all, we would like to say that the staff are still the hotel's greatest asset. Everyone is friendly, helpful and welcoming, and we have, as always, felt very well looked after. We also still love the concept of having fixed sunbeds by the pool, which makes the holiday much more relaxing. The wonderful staff, the reserved sunbeds and the fantastic food have been the main reasons why we have chosen to return year after year. Unfortunately, this visit has been disappointing compared to our previous stays. The hotel no longer feels as clean and well maintained as it used to. The common areas were noticeably dirtier, and we even found cockroaches in our room, which was very unpleasant. The biggest disappointment was the food. In 2023 and 2024, the meals were excellent and felt like dining in a quality restaurant. This year, however, the food was much more like standard canteen food. There was less variety, and the overall quality was far below what we had experienced before. Overall, the whole experience felt much more ordinary. In previous years, staying here felt like a special holiday with great food, an excellent atmosphere and a high standard throughout. This time, it felt much more like an average all-inclusive hotel. What makes this even more disappointing is that we paid €255 more for one week than we paid for two weeks in 2023. When the price has increased so much, we expect the quality to remain at least the same. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We truly hope that Malama Beach Holiday Village will return to the high standards that made us come back year after year. We have always loved this hotel, which is why it is especially sad to see this decline.
Great hotel! I highly recommend the diving school on the premises! Owned by the father and his sons. All very experienced. Some of the most loving people I have met. I am truly sad to say goodbye! Very well priced for the experience. All inclusive. No extra costs! Highly recommend !
We have come to this hotel for second time. Very nice location, very clean, the food is amazing and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The little beach in front of the hotel with small cafe/ restaurant overseeing the Mediterranean Sea is just the ice on the cake. Will be returning again next year .
