Almyra

We have just spent 2 weeks at the Almyra, this was our 4th stay so we obviously like it. The consistency of standards and service across the board have been the key to our returning. The atmosphere is relaxed and not stuffy but still up market. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. The Spa is excellent. Great location with a short walk to the restaurants around the harbour and the archeological park and short taxi ride into the old town. The Ouzeri restaurant is superb for both food and service plus nice music. Pool areas are good with great service. Breakfast offering is good with great service. The gym is comparable to other hotel ones we've used. Try the restaurants at the sister hotel Annabelle next door (Ouranos and Amorosa), not cheap but they are excellent.

We had our destination wedding at the Almyra hotel in September 2026, our friends and family stayed in the hotel too. Everything about it was perfect! we stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in the kyma suites and our guests stayed at the hotel for 2-5 nights in various types of rooms - everyone's experience at the hotel was great ! ♥

The room has exceeded our expectations, with an amazing sea view and right next to the spa area with the infinity pool. There are several pools, so it never felt crowded and you can always find a quiet corner. Plenty of food and drink options on site.

Raminta, the wedding coordinator, took care of me from our very first conversation, months before the wedding. She listened to every worry and found a solution for every problem. she knew exactly what to recommend based on her experience and weddings in the hotel. She really was like a good friend that is trying to do the best, listen and be there for me. Before the ceremony she found us a room to sign the ketubah and hid me from the guests so nobody would see my dress.

The ceremony on the rooftop was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen: the sea behind us, room for all our guests (33) and a huge chuppah, and a feeling that we were the only people in the world.

We had a lot of dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, kosher-style) and the hotel handled all of it. The dinner had a big variety and everyone found something they loved. The vegan cake was gorgeous and truly delicious, which is rare, this one was dreamy.. there was plenty of food in terms of variety and quantity, it really felt abundant. we had a ramen station in our wedding which was an idea we developed with the hotel, and we are really glad we did because everyone talked about it even days after the wedding and it really was truly delicious!

Everything ran on time. The area was prepared in advance as promised, and the staff even placed decorations we were supposed to place ourselves, just because they are kind, and they did it beautifully. Everything was spotless and felt very luxurious, from the reception onwards. The DJ the hotel works with, Neo Anthony, read the room perfectly. Everyone said the party was on another level. we couldn't stop dancing for hours!

What I will remember most is that the staff were excited with us. Elpida, the chef, stopped to talk to me every time we crossed paths in the hotel and asked how I was doing. Dimitrios, who looks after food and drinks, surprised us with a dinner at Ouzeri. Both of them told us to come back next year, and I could see they meant it. You can feel that the people there care because they want to, not because they have to. The moment anyone spotted a problem, they came to help. Our guests had the best time, and it seemed that the staff around us was happy to see us happy.

One thing I wish we had known: the hotel does not allow food deliveries from outside - I only found out after waiting endlessly for my order which resulted in being hangry :( the room service is nice though..

We got married at the Almyra on 4 September 2026 with 33 guests and stayed with most of the group for 3-5 nights. The short version: It was amazing, and the hotel went out of its way for us, and every one of our guests said the same.

Raminta ran the whole thing down to the small details from the first email to the last dance. Our wedding wouldn't look the same without her. Everything happened exactly as she said it would – the ceremony on the spa roof, the party at Eauzone, the dinner under the pergola. The setup was 10/10.

What stood out:

• Dietary needs. We had vegan, vegetarian and kosher-style guests (no full Kosher kitchen). Every single person got their food, the staff were briefed, nobody had to ask twice.
• Our two dogs came with us. Each got its own bed in the room and the staff were lovely with them. When we needed a hard-boiled egg to put their pills in before we left, it was at the lobby about ten minutes after I asked.
• The vegan two-tier cake from the hotel kitchen looked beautiful and was genuinely delicious. The ramen bar at the party was a hit.
• At one point during the party I wasn't feeling great, and the staff showed up with cold towels, ice and coffee.
• The hotel surprised us with a post-wedding dinner at Ouzeri – Dimitris looked after us there and it was one of the best meals of the trip.
• Dimitrios, the F&B manager, and his team on the floor at the event were quick and friendly all night; Marinos in particular, we also want to thank Christopher at the lobby and Estathios, who handled our luggage.

The DJ the hotel recommended, Neo Anthony (Antonis), was excellent – our Israeli guests were convinced he was Israeli from how well he handled the Hebrew set (and his own mix with International songs was amazing), he knows how to read the room. Book him.

One small tip for guests: the hotel doesn't accept food-delivery orders (Wolt etc.), so plan accordingly.

We felt like VIPs the whole week. Thank you, Almyra.
