Amazing Hotel
I honestly can’t rate this hotel high enough. From the location, relaxed atmosphere, the gorgeous room overlooking the sea and the outstanding service, this is a hotel not to miss. Situated on the beach front close enough to Paphos Harbour the amenities however make you not want to leave! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay half board and the food was delicious. All staff members are super enthusiastic, professional and friendly. This was our second visit and it just gets better! Would highly recommended!
Beautiful Hotel. Amazing Food!
What an absolutely beautiful hotel, well-presented and spotlessly clean, with friendly, helpful staff. We just wanted a week away in the sunshine to relax and recharge, and this hotel certainly delivered.
The first night we went to the Immenso roof top restaurant, described as Asian Fusion the quality and presentation of the food was insanely good, made all the more spectacular by the sunset views.
All the restaurants at the resort were extremely good with knowledgeable and talented staff. Each restaurant is differently themed to provide variety and choice. We also liked the sunbed allocation system, where you are assigned sunbeds of your choice on arrival for the duration of your stay and provided with fresh towels and a cool bag with bottled water each day.
All three pools are well maintained in relaxing environments. We particularly liked the swim up bar.
We also took full advantage of the well-equipped gym, spa facilities, and cocktail lounge.
Concierges are delighted to help with luggage, taxis, and day trips should you wish it. The hotel is walking distance from the harbor and the UNESCO heritage site. The old town is a little further away, we recommend the reasonably priced taxis from the hotel.
There is a sandy beach with sunbeds but bring beach shoes as the coastline is rocky.
Things we didn’t love…
The party boat that cruises past the hotel every evening is a little loud, though we did enjoy the fireworks.
The pool bar supervisor in the white shirt was off hand and curt with guests as well as the pool bar staff, who were absolutely lovely, polite and friendly.
Things we did love...
How welcoming and friendly the staff were, especially Vicktoria in the buffet restaurant, and the pool bar boys and girls in blue polo shirts who went out of their way to ensure you were comfortable and had everything you needed. That together with the quality and presentation of the food in all the restaurants deserves particular thanks to the incredible talented chefs.
An Incredible 5 Star Experience
My wife and I spent 2 very special weeks at the Amavi Paphos returning last week. The hotel is exceptional. The large bedrooms have views over the pool, gardens and sea and each night we were able to stand on the balcony and watch the amazing sunsets. The pool and surrounding gardens are kept spotless with reserved sun loungers which are a great idea and you have them for your entire stay. The 4 restaurants are amazing. The buffet restaurant is like no other 5 star hotel buffet restaurant we have stayed in around the world. The standard and choice of food and the presentation was excellent. Not to mention the service which was absolutely first class. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff As we stayed for 2 weeks we were able to book the 3 a la carte restaurants twice. Each one was again amazing from the roof top Italian Immenso with its breathtaking views over Paphos, Fort a Lana situated in the gardens to Nocturne, the fine dining restaurant . If you want to feel special and be spoilt with wonderful staff ,whilst in a relaxed atmosphere , then the Amavi restaurants will offer that . As I have said, whether it was in the staff in restaurant, around the pool, at reception, the Guest Relations team ,the house keeping team, nothing was too much trouble. Each day we were greeted with wonderful smiles and people going out of their way to make sure we had an holiday to remember. We just felt so at home. Even though it was our first time at the Amavi and there were many returning guests we were made to feel very special. It would be wrong of me to mention staff by name as each one played their own part in making our holiday so enjoyable. The hotel management should be extremely proud of their staff who work so incredibly hard. One other thing both myself and wife said that made Amavi stand out from other 5 Star hotels was the visibility of the General Manager.Each day he made a point of walking around the hotel and in the restaurants and speaking to guests. Whereas some would have stayed in their office. A nice and pleasant surprise. What a wonderful memorable 2 weeks we had at Amavi made even more special by the incredible Amavi Team . THANK YOU.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location is very convenient, the hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, very clean, and have stunning sea views.
The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Omar, who went above and beyond to assist us, gave us wonderful recommendations, and truly made our stay even more enjoyable.
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, and the spa was excellent. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
Faultless.
A magical experience from check in to check out. As mentioned earlier, ALL the staff were truly great, really kind, courteous and genuinely helpful, with Adrian in the Ezaria restaurant with his dry humour (could almost be a Yorkshireman) but spot on service and Korina in the Selene Bar who was simply brilliant, polite and kind. As for the food on offer, every diet was covered with more than enough choice and if you did have a concern then Chef was on hand to resolve those concerns and put your mind at rest. All the food on offer was really good if not great, my personal favourite was the Immenso restaurant, if possible I would have liked to dine there on more than the one occasion you are allocated, but I understand why there is such a system in order to give everyone the opportunity. The system employed for the sunbeds is simply perfect and works a treat and the sunbeds are very comfortable with towels provided and a little lunch bag with two bottles of water provided free of charge for you. No fighting for sunbeds it's yours for the duration of your stay with the option to move to another bed should one become free whilst you are there. The pool and area are kept spotlessly clean, with the lifeguards keeping the tiled area where people have climbed out as dry as possible. To end, the welcome evening hosted by General Manager Mr Charalambous was a really nice touch, Mr Charalambous gave everyone the time of day and, as his staff, were kind and courteous. A big thank you to him and all his staff members throughout the hotel.
