Avanti Village

Just returned from an absolutely lovely holiday at the Avanti Holiday Village in Paphos, and I cannot recommend it enough! Having last visited 11 years ago, it was wonderful to see that it’s still as fantastic as ever. ​From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Every team member—from reception to housekeeping—was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. A special mention has to go to Demetria, the restaurant manager, who was absolute fab at breakfast every morning! Nothing was ever too much trouble.

​The apartments themselves are brilliant. They are genuinely large, spacious, and very clean throughout. Having that extra room to stretch out made the stay so comfortable, and the housekeeping team does a wonderful job maintaining high standards every single day.

​One of the biggest highlights for us was how peaceful and easygoing the pool area was. There were no sunbed wars whatsoever—you could enjoy a lie-in, wander down to the big pool with its fantastic swim-up bar, and easily find a great spot without any stress. The overall atmosphere across the resort is exceptionally relaxing and calm. ​It was also a great reminder of just how safe Cyprus feels as a destination. Whether walking around the local area, strolling down toward Paphos harbour in the evening, or just relaxing on-site, you feel completely secure and at ease the entire time.

Excellent family orientated complex. Lovely food and staff in the restaurant by the pool. Fiesta restaurant at the bottom entrance of the complex was excellent also. Great location, right on the main bus route. Bus stop right outside a couple of minutes walk. Less than 5 minutes walk to local tavernas and restaurants. 5 minutes walk to sea side boardwalk to harbour. Lots of water activities, restaurants, small beaches and the Sea. 15 minutes walk to the harbour which is full of restaurants and shops and boat trips. Bus goes right into the harbour terminal. Reception team were always extremely helpful. Amazing pool and swim up pool bar. We were also able to use the steam , sauna and pool facilities at the neighbouring Avanti Hotel. Maintenance and housekeeping team really quick to respond and very helpful. Travelling as a family with a wheelchair user. Extremely happy with complex, staff helpfulness and facilities. Had a fantastic holiday and would 100% recommend.

I have just retuned home from a relaxing week at the Avanti village hotel in Paphos. On arrival I found the staff very friendly and very welcoming. Checking was quick and simple with clear directions to my apartment. The apartment was very spacious and very clean and fresh. Breakfast was more than adequate hot and cold options and the bonus of some but limited Gluten free choices. The restaurant manager "Demetra" and her staff was so welcoming and friendly and helpful, showing me all options and how to use the facilities. I chose to eat breakfast every morning at the Avanti village. A very large pool and pool-bar and safe children's pool and area with activities for all. Close by are restaurants, bars, beach, Regular buses, Supermarkets. all at reasonable prices. Only one drawback for me is the hotel runs card payments only, my preference is cash, but I can highly recommend The Avanti village hotel. I would return in the future.
