There's so much to see and do in Paphos. It's one of the essential places to stay in any holiday to Cyprus. And when you stay at the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel you'll have easy access to the beach, the harbour, the archaeological sites and the great shops too. But as well as all of that, you'll have the amenities of the hotel itself to enjoy and they really are worth writing home about.
For a start, there are three amazing freshwater pools to choose from (as well as an adults Pool, two paddling pools and a heated indoor pool (heated Nov - Apr).
The hotel's Elixir Spa is another highlight. At the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel every consideration is given to making your stay relaxing and invigorating and nothing invigorates quite like one of their massages – followed by a wonderfully relaxing aromatherapy treatment. (There are 2 waterslides too for those who fancy a different kind of invigorating experience.)
If you fancy a bit of sporty action, you can take your pick from mini golf to bowls to tennis or table tennis. Or you can work up quite an appetite in the hotel gym. With such a great selection of places to eat, all in the hotel, you'll certainly want to take full advantage. From far Eastern cuisine to local favorites, from a la carte dining to four course meals and the Zephyr adults only a la carte, there’s a menu and a setting for everyone. From the cocktail bar, lounge bar (open to the discretion of Management) rooftop bar ( adult only for Elite class) to the beach bar and adults pool bar to room service, you can choose what, where and when you eat.
It's certainly hard to resist the idea of a little room service now and then, particularly when you return to your room after a busy day. All guests' rooms are spacious and air conditioned for your maximum comfort. And we really do recommend a little light supper or drinks on your private balcony. (Side and full sea view rooms are also available, affording excellent views out over the Mediterranean.)

A great week at Athena Beach hotel
Great location, easy to get to old harbour and on bus route to main destinations.
Really excellent staff very kind, helpful and really made our stay extra special.
We appreciated the adult only areas.
Only downside was as a non drinker there were limited non alcoholic options which were not sweet or fizzy and only Heineken zero would like a broader range.

Family holiday
Stayed end Jul for 10 nights, beautiful hotel and location. Clean and staff warm and friendly. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Excellent food variety both hot and cold. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

We have just returned home from our wonderful stay at Athena Beach. This was our 2nd time here and we have booked for next year so we can’t wait for that to come round!
There’s so much to love about this hotel. Here’s a few experiences we had during our stay:
The moment we arrived we were greeted by the staff at reception in particular a gentleman I believe could be one of the managers. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was Italian and very engaging especially with our son talking football and having a laugh. Please send our regards to this gentleman.
We were pleased that we were granted our room we requested which was where we stayed the last time we came. Great service!
The food was just as we remembered from our previous stay - excellent, and we loved the orange making machine you have in the restaurant. Tasty and Fresh!
Entertainment was very impressive. Evening entertainment especially was very good. The different acts at the palm tree were great especially Freddie Mercury and I’m not being biased here even if he was from Manchester like myself 😂 but genuinely he was very good. The kids entertainment was also very good. Very engaging especially the touch button quiz and the magic show. Then the nectar bar although we didn’t go in here we walked past it each night and the guests were clearly having the best time. Daytime entertainment was also very good, there was always different activities on like table tennis and darts, kids treasure hunt.
I’ve read a few reviews on here about the sunbed situation and it was an issue when we first arrived so I did unfortunately have to get up a bit earlier to get one and that was on the grass area as the poolside were already taken. The hotel did type a letter for the guests saying they would remove the towels from the sunbeds before 8am so to be fair they are trying to stop it from happening but it’s not all on the hotel. The guests need to be respectful as well. I don’t really know what the answer to this problem is to be honest apart from maybe allocating them but the rep said this was offered in the past and guests didn’t like it either. This didn’t ruin our holiday whatsoever though just to confirm. It’s just something that I noticed and I’ve read on here from other guests.
Our room was in a great location and the beds very comfy. The staff were very prompt in cleaning our room daily. I’ve also read on here that the rooms are a bit dated and whilst I would agree with this it was still to a good standard.
The pool area was very spacious and there was a small and bigger slide for the kids to go on plus a baby paddling pool and an indoor pool which was a bit colder so plenty for everyone.
We were very pleased to see that as we were returning guests we got a 15% discount on our drinks and food. Nice touch by Athena Beach.
In the evening we sat up on the veranda to watch the entertainment but word of advice you will need to get a seat earlier or you will struggle to get one. Again not a big issue as we went into the harbour a few times anyway.
Overall this hotel has everything you need and it really is wonderful. We will see you next year Athena Beach 🇨🇾☀️

Best honeymoon ever!
We have just returned home from 11 nights at Athena Beach. We came for our honeymoon and are absolutely blown away by how incredible it was. All of the staff go above and beyond expectations, they remember your name annd are just overall lovely people. Special shout out to Violetta from the Nectar Bar, she was phenomenal every single night. I can’t fault anything at all about our time at this amazing hotel. Everything was immaculately clean, mini bar was restocked everyday, all food and drinks are brilliant. We spent quite a few nights going al a carte at the Leda Restaurant and the service there is unbelievable. Can’t quite believe that it was included in our all inclusive package. All of the evening entertainment was also brilliant and two entertainers in particular I would like to mention. One being Anatasio the showman from the Nectar Bar, he absolutely brought the party and had so much energy, such a lovely guy! Secondly I would like to mention Conna Lee who performed as Freddy Mercury, he was a lot of fun and very entertaining. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is thinking about going, we had the best honeymoon ever and can’t wait to return again!
