The newly refurbished Dionysos Central Hotel offers an affordable and enjoyable stay in this famous part of Cyprus. The name Dionysos refers to the Greek God of wine, vegetation, pleasure and festivity; the Dionysos Central Hotel continues it mythological namesake by offering fantastic hospitality in a warm homely atmosphere.
The Dionysos Central Hotel is situated less than 100 yards from a beach and only a few minutes walk to the bustling and colourful Paphos harbour. Many of Paphos' most attractive tourist attractions and historic sites are within easy walking distance of the Dionysos Central Hotel. This hotel also offers guests good in-house facilities including the choice of three quality restaurants along with adjoining bars.

The Dionysos Central Hotel ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay whilst benefiting from a superb location close to the famous harbour of Paphos. All the rooms at the Dionysos Central Hotel are spacious and bright as well as offering tasteful furnishing and comfort. A choice of twin or double rooms all feature heating and air-conditioning as well as having their own private bathroom and balcony.
All have satellite TV, radio, direct dial telephone and ceiling fan. There is also a choice of Poolview, and recently refurbished Deluxe and Deluxe Poolview rooms, which are available at a supplement. Deluxe room upgrades offer additional facilities which include a Mini-fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, room safe (at a fee) FREE Wi-Fi and a welcome bottle of wine and fruit.

There are also good in-house guest facilities including three restaurants (adjoining) and bars. Our guests receive a 10% discount at La Palace Royale Bistro.

Nice friendly small hotel
Great location very close to harbour and bars and restaurants . Booked with TUi as 3 *, room was great size modern and very clean . Daily cleaning service couldn’t be faulted .
However this is not an accessible hotel with steps up to the entrance and throughout particularly if your room is in the annex , we counted 20 in total to our room with suitcases .🥵 Also if you stay in the annex it is noisey until 2am when the music stops . We decided if you can’t beat them.. join them 😆

Just couldn't be any better, thank you for a wonderful holiday
After best part of 30 years, of going to this hotel on a regular basis, it is wonderful to find that every visit is just as good as the the last one. The staff, headed by manager Costas, are excellent, with very special mentions to Receptionists, Santa, Olga and the latest addition Ayla. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the centre of Paphos. The main building rooms have all been refurbished and are very comfortable. the Annex, is similar in terms of quality. The whole hotel, rooms, general areas and pool is very clean. Despite the position, the hotel is quiet, perhaps because it tends not to be an ideal setting for families, even though there is a lovely pool and sundeck for relaxation. This is classed as a 3 Star hotel, which is fair enough. Years ago this was advertised as a Thomson Small and Friendly Hotel, which is exactly what it is. Value for money is excellent, whether it be your tariff for Bed and Breakfast, or simply buying food or a drink in it's cafe/restaurant.

Very Welcoming Hotel
We have just returned from a holiday at the Dionysos Central Hotel it was perfect. The first impression was clean comfortable and welcoming. The staff in reception and in the dining rooms were so helpful , friendly nothing was to much trouble. We arrived on a late flight a cold meal of sandwiches, salad and dips had been put in our room for us, nicely wrapped in clingfilm. We went half board the breakfast was lovely a good choice of food and plenty of it. The evening meal had a really good choice on the menu, we tried nearly all of the dishes and were always pleased with our meal. The hotel is only across the road from the front which is now all pedestrianised, there is plenty to see and do. The only downside was they were having a heat wave when we were there but we can't blame anybody for that.

Dionysos Central Hotel
Hotel Central for everything. Been to hotel before. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Santa helped us on first day. Always smiling. Food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. Nice to see familiar faces and will definitely be back.
