Kefalos Beach Tourist Village

Absolutely amazing!

This was our 9th visit, but this one has been the best by far :)

We had room 307, ground floor, one bedroom apartment. It was perfect! We'd requested a ground floor room and that's what we got. Don't be afraid to contact Kefalos with any requests - sure they may not always be able to help, but if they can work the Kefalos magic, it'll happen.

We went B&B as usual as we love having dinner at the local tavernas and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was well organised and plenty of options. It was good to see many of the staff still there from our previous visits :)

We got snacks for the room, and for lunch, from the onsite supermarket. It's amazing how they can get so much variety into a small shop - and it's all reasonably priced. Again, the same staff we've come to know and love.

Around the pool was Mithu, who helps with getting the umbrellas up and makes sure you're having a good time (he also takes you to your room in one of the buggies when you arrive). Mohammed was lifeguard for the majority of our stay - kept everyone safe :)

The cleaning team are amazing. We don't tend to make that much of a mess, but the rooms were always spotless - great work. And the maintenance team do an amazing job of keeping the grounds looking their best :)

The entertainment team were outstanding this year, really engaging and probably the most interaction we've had with them on any of our visits. The regular events from Rico - including bingo and the fire show. Aqua Gym with Iines and Marta (which I did every day). Mini golf with Mia and Roman (I clearly need to work on my putting skills before visit #10) 😂 Really enjoyed the karaoke and party dances too. Something for everyone :)

The pool bar team were also amazing. Always checking you had what you needed, and again, lots of staff we'd seen before.

We made some new friends while we were there, with a good possibility we'll see them at the Kefalos again.

Can't wait for our tenth visit!

Oh and there are cats ...

Just arrived home following a 14 night stay b&b Let’s start on a good note. Check in was very late at night and the reception staff was warm and welcoming. Very helpful with directions to our room. The room was basic but we were only using this as a base to sleep and get changed in. The hotel is very clean and the the grounds staff work really hard to keep it this way. The majority of the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the gent who greets guests at breakfast. Now for the not so good. One reception staff in particular (male) was rather abrupt and dismissive if asked anything. While my partner was speaking to him he cut the conversation off to answer a phone call. We asked to pay extra to keep our room as we had a late check out. We were told on the night we arrived to request this as soon as possible which we did the following morning. Only to then to be told a note would be made and to check back the night before our departure to see if this was possible. We where then informed that we couldn’t but could move to another room on the morning we where due to leave. This meant us packing everything up and carting it to a new room as the other side of the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t great, cheap products and rather greasy. The pool bar was ok. My partner ordered a pork kebab for lunch which on eating he discovered what looked like a piece of blue latex glove. We pointed this out to the staff and didn’t get so much as an apology. We were presented with the bill (which we hadn’t asked for). The pool area and location are lovely but the noise from some of the guest who are clearly drinking all day can get rather loud, often with inappropriate conversations and bad language. I am all for ppl enjoying their holiday but there is a time and a place.

Paphos is a beautiful place and I will definitely go back but a change of accommodation will be on the cards
