The King Jason Hotel

Not our usual costal hotel but only 20 min walk to harbour & beach & made good use of the free shuttle bus a few local shops if you need the basics Room was spacious with very comfortable bed & pillows. Large bathroom area with twin sinks & bath with rainfall shower & separate toilet Twin Air conditioning was excellent & small kitchen area for that early morning cuppa Main pool was busy at times but sunbeds always available. Hydro pool mainly used by sun worshippers & dont see its value in a venue used mainly by retirement + age group Quiet pool was shaded with super luxury sunbeds but frequented by younger ages 'creating content' which should of been created elsewhere! Adjacent building works didn't make for an enjoyable visit & main pool proved to be quieter Food was hot & good quality with themed nights providing excellent variety The Pisco Peruvian restaurant was excellent & a must for those staying Restaurant staff were excellent although seemed stretched at breakfast Pool bar service was Superb with staff attentive & very polite Main bar staff very welcoming & worked like a well oiled machine SOFIA, polite & helpful with local knowledge Entertainment: a bloke playing a guitar that got told by the hotel not to sing as it was upsetting guests, a singer that I couldn't understand due to the husky tones & a DJ playing tunes down in the beach bar which was inaccessible by the majority of guests due the steps Overall a good experience for us & different to our usual beachfront hotel but felt it lacked the refinery of previous stays Fire alarm going off on the first night without any information from the reception staff to inform us what was happening & this continued 4-5 times that night & again the following night without anyone apologising or providing any updates..... Get off your backsides & walk the 50 paces, call the rooms or leave a note!! Thus was achieved on the 4th night

Would we stay here again..... At over £4k for a couple for 10 nights its not cheap & better suited to an older age group ( I'm a young 50 yr old), it's a no from me

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the King Jason. Everything about the hotel was wonderful; lovely room (with the comfiest bed!), great food and cocktails, and staff that couldn't do enough for you. Beautiful pools with no sunbed wars, and way more facilities than you would expect from a similarly sized hotel. Also really easy access to Paphos harbour. We are hoping to return to explore more of Cyprus and the King Jason will be the perfect base from which to do this.

I read lots of reviews before I booked and they were all spot on! This is an amazing hotel although the location might not suit everybody but it was fine for me and my husband. Friendly staff at all levels - everyone seemed to enjoy their work. Our room was amazing - we had an executive suite with a well equipped kitchenette, comfortable lounge area with a three piece suite, and although it was all open plan the bedroom area could be curtained off for privacy. The beds were so comfortable with fantastic pillows. The bathroom had two sinks and the shower was a walk in with great toiletries, and was also open plan but could be curtained off. We only used the main pool, which was a lovely temperature with the most amazing sun beds - never had such comfort! Although pool towels could only be exchanged every three days, this wasn’t a problem. The restaurant was really nice and the selection and quality of food was unbelievable at all times! Couldn’t fault but could do with better toasters at breakfast! A shout out to Sofia for getting my husband to do water aerobics! She works very hard as do the rest of the staff. Will return!
