Set in its own wonderful gardens, the Veronica Hotel combines charm and style to great effect. Inside, cool stone tiled floors throughout give it that distinctive Mediterranean feel. While its soft furnishings and comfortable chairs give it the feeling of a comfortable home away from home too.
The outdoor swimming pool is fringed with trees, giving it a Caribbean feel, and offering lots of cool shade to relax in, pre or post swim. We certainly recommend an afternoon dip, a snooze and a little something from the pool-side snack bar or some time in the games room.
Then if you fancy a siesta, you'll find your room wonderfully conducive to a pleasant afternoon nap as well as a peaceful night's sleep. The clean, white walls and tiled floors keep that fresh cool vibe going, and make each room a quiet haven away from the holiday hustle and bustle.
All twin-bedded, en suite rooms are air conditioned and feature a private balcony. And a little part of every day should certainly be spent on the balcony with a cool drink in hand. Rooms also feature phone, TV and hairdryer. A mini fridge is available on request and a safe is available with a fee.
As well as the poolside snack bar, the Veronica Hotel in Paphos features an expansive restaurant. We had a Weeks stay in September and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised
Yes the hotel rooms are a bit dated but ours was perfectly comfortable
The staff were very friendly and attentive
There was a good choice at breakfast
The areas were very clean
The pool area was lovely and no issue getting a sun lounger
This is a very good 3 star which isn’t trying to be anything other than a 3 star.. would I stay here again.. ABSOLUTELY!!

Return stay, Great!
I came back to the Veronica Hotel for a second time on this trip, (i was here last year!) it is a delightful little hotel and i'm not disappointed that i booked again!, most of The staff recognised me straight away from reception to the pool and bar staff and as was walking through reception after booking in even 'Lucky' the owner recognised me from last year and came over to shake my hand and have a chat! Lovely man! i had a lovely two week stay and have to commend all the staff for their very friendly and attentive manner, room was comfortable and functional and the pool and sunbeds were always available. If you read my first review from last year i stated that i mostly book 5* hotels but that i had found the Veronica through a late booking, i stated that i was happy in the future to forego the usual over hyped and over priced hotels to come back here again and i'm really glad i did! I read some of the negative reviews on here from people and i can only wonder why they are so negative??
There are always going to be those holiday makers that expect 5* facilities at 3* prices but you have to be realistic in your expectations surely? i have heard the way, also, that some people speak to the staff almost treating them as personal servants then seem horrified that they get a negative reaction? what do they expect?
I can sum up by saying genuinly and honestly that the staff are delightful and very approachable if one treats them with the respect and politeness that, you, yourself expect! The Hotel is clean, the rooms cleaned daily and the towels regularly changed, the pool is clean , as is the pool area, and a sunbed is always available.
I have now enjoyed two stays that this delightful little gem of a hotel and i am now looking to book again late season before the year is out and i have no worries about returning to the Veronica!.....Go with realistic expectations and you will not be disappointed!......Turn up with an attitude and its only your own holiday that you are ruining. surely!!

Arrived on 8th sept, paid for room with pool view, was in room 17 and had no pool view at all, spoke with reception who insisted was pool view and no rooms available, on unpacking found fridge full of mould, again went to reception and they sent cleaner to clean it. The whole week we had issue with getting key in door, and on second to last day the key snapped in looked, hotel manager was originally very rude until i told him straight, was told everything shut so had to wait to day after( monday) for key. Monday came, 6 times manager was trying to put keys in and none would work, he soon realised it was faulty. Floor in room had not been swept or mopped all week 🤔. I didnt read reviews on this place as it was last minute add on with a friend who had booked, but even on a budget friendly hotel cleanliness should still be on point. The only high light was the lovely young man on pool bar who worked his socks off, was so very helpful. Would not recommend at all...

Our check in was the friendliest experience. The room was very clean,the beds are soft. Breakfast ex,element of you like a cooked breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

BE CAREFUL THEIR CLEANING LADIES TRIED TO STEAL OUR THINGS. It wasn't the first time we stayed there and lost stuff, but we thought had lost them, but yesterday it turned out to be the opposite. They should take responsibility. Great disappointment from the hotel staff and even from the hotel owner, during our stay at the hotel on 23/05/2026 for one night. Upon our arrival we knew that the next morning check-out was at 12 noon. In the morning we left the hotel and when we return at 10:30 and as soon as we opened the room door all of our personal belongings were missing and the room was clean without us doing any check-out and without allowing anyone to touch our personal belongings. We started searching and found a cleaning lady who pretended not to know anything, and then she started giving us our things from bags that she had thrown away or hiding somewhere, specifically some of our thing was in a basket with used toilet paper. We immediately asked the cleaning lady to call the management and the owner. Once in the room we reported the incident and the answer we got was that it's okay since we're stepping outside with our shoes on dirt. After many discussions with the owner and after we mentioned that we were going to file a complaint, he said that he would reimburse us for our money. And when I say our money, he also told us the value of some of our things at the cost of 250€. We packed up what was left and headed to the reception. When we got there to check out and get our compensation, the girl at the reception told us, thank you very much for your stay and have a good bye. So the girl at the reception was not aware of the incident, we reported the incident to the girl and she called the owner, when the owner came, he said sorry for the inconvenience, apologized and told us to good bye and the only thing he could do is give us one night free to stay at the hotel. We told him that there is no chance of us going again to stay over there!!After destroying our property worth of around 500€ they only reimbursed us with 80€ that we already had paid for the room!
