Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Service is the best especially by Elpiniki waiter the main restaurant
Loved it! Honestly the absolute best value all inclusive I’ve ever stayed at! The square is brilliant, the à la carte is divine! It’s like being on a mini island! Are there better yes but are there better for the money know! Jenny made our stay super special
Unbelievable experience. A lot of space, lush nature, amazing beach and most of all, unbelievably attentive staff. Especially, Vangelis from the barbecue on the main square. He was very original and with a smile always. 10 out of 10
Brilliant weeks stay with the family. - Transfer arranged by the hotel was as you'd hope, punctual and polite driver. -Hotel itself was ace. Friendly staff greeting us on arrival with a cold towel and lemonade before a short tour. -Room was huge and very comfortable, nice place to relax and cool off. -Food was great, plenty choice at the buffer whilst the Al la carte restraunts were all a treat.
Would certainly recommend
We would like to again thank all the helpful staff at Costa Botanica in Corfu as we (a pensioner with mobility issues, my daughter and her husband and my two grandchildren aged 7 & 9) all thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing and memorable, ten night, family, all inclusive holiday in July.
The room we were allocated on arrival (at midnight due to flight delays) had a strange noise which kept us awake the first night but we mentioned it in the morning and reception kindly & quickly changed our room (thank you!) and we were very pleased with the two connecting rooms we moved to which were very comfortable and adequately spacious and each had a flat screen tv (which the children sometimes watched cartoons in Greek while we were getting ready for dinner, lol). The walk in shower I’d requested & we had in one of the two bathrooms (a plus) was fine and easily accessible though next time I’ll ask for a rubber mat (if available?) for the floor of the shower which can be very slippery when wet for some of us. I also much appreciated the buggy lifts to the beach/pool area which were a bit too far for me to walk to with my walking stick, and I’d ask for, thank you so much.
The water park within the Costa Botanica resort with its multiple tall slides was a real fun highlight for the children who loved going up and down many times trying out all the diverse slides each with their own thrills levels! The lazy river was also great fun for all of us together when we wanted a break from relaxing & reading on the sun loungers too! Plus conveniently when hungry one could quickly grab a drink & a snack (for ex. a piece of pizza or hot dog, etc.) at 1 of the nearby snack bars and return to the slides again quickly after!
The beach & pool areas were also great and the staff and life guards were also always around the pools offering assistance and bringing us drinks too which we really appreciated. Thank you.
In the mornings we’d have a lovely choice of everything you’d want for breakfast (including cereals, porridge, pancakes, croissants & pastries, eggs, bacon sausage or whatever) from the buffet and in the evenings after we’d showered and changed we’d walk back to the Piazza populare (main square) again for dinner in the main buffet indoors & outdoors dining area (and there is virtually something for everyone available with a great variety of foods and salads and many deserts and drinks offered, too!) and/or we’d also sampled the three (Greek, Italian and Asian) alla carte restaurants that reception had kindly booked for us (thank you as our booking was last minute) which should be booked in advance via the hotel’s app. There was a printed schedule of all the themed evening events available and this included Greek dancing and all kinds of music too which was all lovely fun entertainment for all. I’d never been on an all inclusive holiday before so it was great not to be burdened with a large bill for drinks & meals at check out!
We also enjoyed & paid for as “extras” a massage and facial in the hotels lovely Spa which we recommend, too.
We again thank all the excellent staff (I am sorry there are too many names to mention so thank you to all who’ve helped make our holiday great!) at Costa Botanica as we all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
We will definitely happily return again to Costa Botanica in the lovely Emerald Isle of Corfu even despite the inevitable dreadful mosquitos who bit us all at night! Just remember to definitely wear mosquito repellent and use what the hotel also provides in the rooms and bring some extra smidge to ease the itching, too and you’ll be fine!
