Ikos Odisia and Prodromos 15/10
We stayed at Ikos Odisia between 11th-21st September.
This was our second trip, having visited earlier in the year. Our expectations were already high given how amazing our last visit was, but my word were they exceeded.
This is all due to our amazing consierge Prodromos who made sure that this trip absolute perfection in every aspect.
He is relentlessly hard working and stops at nothing to make sure you have everything you need no matter what time of day.
We are coming back next year and cannot wait to experience another holiday at this amazing resort

Top quality hotel, most of the rooms are set around the 4 pools (one of which is for deluxe guests and one is adult only)
We had a promo room which was at the top end of the resort, furthest away from the beach, but nearest to the gym and spa. It was near the entertainment but we were not disturbed.
Restaurants of which there are seven are superb, 5 overlook the sea whilst two are in the main building, all have superb views. food was top notch, lots of choice and beautifully presented.
Service throughout the resort was excellent, from the cleaners, to the pool staff, and at the restaurants (although see below).
Gym was very well presented and stunning views across the bay.
We had massages at the spa which were great and again beautiful views from the indoor pool.
Entertainment is low key, with a piano player in the bar in the evening, we didn't go to the shows as we assumed they were more family orientated).
We booked 3 restaurants before we left and on arrival the reception staff booked us 4 more and a slot on the boat trip (free sunset cruise-well worth doing).
There is a free shuttle to Corfu town and free car hire for the day although we didn't make use of these.
You can walk to Dassia town and the other Ikos resort in Dassia in 10-15 mins along the beach. Worth a look but imo not as nice as Odisia by a long way.
We have visited Greece maybe 20-25 times and this is without doubt our favourite hotel, we have booked again to go next year and would highly recommend this resort.
Two negatives
- Wasps in early September are plentiful and can be annoying, would recommend an inside table if eating before sunset. At lunchtime in OUZO the desserts were literally covered in wasps. This needs to be addressed and some of the food covered.
- We had superb service throughout our time and often tipped staff members. However we had one unsavoury incident at Elias restaurant. We had a very pleasant greeting and starter and main course. However after our main course a couple sat in a table opposite us. Both the waiter and wine waiter approached the couple fawning all over them. Offering to open their special bottle of wine to allow it to breathe and telling them that he kitchen would be put on hold so their food could be prepared. After taking their order our waiter turned to us placed two menus on our table and said that we he wouldn't be able to take our order for 20 minutes as they were very busy but we could go elsewhere if we wanted to. This was the one and only time we were unimpressed with the service which at this restaurant seemed almost like two tier service.

Kid friendly - couples beware.
The resort is beautiful, scenic, warm, friendly and welcoming! Restaurants are stunning with 360 views of the sea - set in the hills and perfect bay for beach relaxing and sunbathing! Staff are friendly, polite and welcoming all day! Great gym, breakfast spots and lunch too. book the restaurants in advice of your arrival to avoid any disappointment as they’re booked up quickly. Only downside to the whole holiday is the amount of young children/ baby’s. Quiet zones are not quiet and often full with children screaming at dinners (even 9pm reservations are full of kids) not the couples holiday my wife and I expected. Shame really, as it could be amazing with some pre-planning to separate the adult and children areas. Also beware, the island is a hot spot for mosquitoes and wasps - some of the tables outside were closed due to the amount of wasps swarming around- the hotel does its best to mitigate but it is a very warm and tropical place so flying insects are more prevalent than most places. Overall a really enjoyable stay, just not a romantic one!

The Ultimate All Inclusive Luxury Resort - A Must Visit
We have visited many all inclusive luxury resorts as a family of six adults and, having stayed at other Sani/Ikos resorts, made the decision in June 2023 to try Ikos Odisia. It was the best holiday decision we have ever made and have returned every year and this year made a second visit just withe my wife. The location is fabulous with the rooms located spaciously within 60+ acres of beautiful gardens looking out onto a gorgeous bay with a daily raked clean stretch of beach of about 400+ m. The whole resort system runs seamlessly but I would like to focus on the two key elements that I think make this resort the best we have ever visited. The first is the staff. From the from the GM Mr Murans and his two most senior colleagues Mr Nikolic and Mr Malamas through to the restaurant/bar staff to the housekeeping/ gardening teams - all of them are friendly, greet with a smile and do whatever it takes to make your holiday more than perfect. I can never remember everyone we meet but want to give special mentions to Mr Nikolic a top top man, George-Jordan in Guest Relations, Alexis-Matt Deputy Head of Rooms, Louie, Giorgos and Liman the beach dream team and the hardest working boss of the beach Jurmaine. Having worked in the food and hospitality industry for 40+ years, the quality, menu variety and standard of presentation of the food is exceptional. This key element of the resort is overseen by Mr Malamas and Eleni Zachari and a great team of chefs under guidance of the Executive Chef Sotiris. We try every restaurant at least twice if we can and are never disappointed. Again, I can never remember all the restaurant managers but would be remiss not to mention Elis and Dimitris in Fresco, Iro in Sea Grill, Ilias in Ouzo and Bill in Elia. Odisia is just great and a must visit!

2nd stay and just keeps getting better
This was my second stay to Odisia, this time travelling as a party of 4 ladies. We stayed in a 2 bed deluxe suite overlooking the deluxe pool. The suite was perfect for us, on arrival we had to ask for more glasses/cups/bags/hairdryer as there were only 2 of everything. A quick call to Nikos, our amazing concierge and all was rectified
We had a fabulous holiday, the food was stunning and an improvement from my last stay. I stayed at Kissamos in June and thought it was as beautiful as Odisia but now feel Odisia is still number 1. Elia, Oliva, Azul, Anaya, stand out favourites.
Wine selection, even in deluxe, has definitely reduced. Quite a few of the wines we chose were out of stock or “last bottle”
Cocktails varied between bars or pool & beach, Azul bar & Elia were realistic cocktails and the DJ at Elia was wonderful. The White party is now at Elia and was a huge improvement from 2024. We did feel there were too many little ones up there, maybe Ikos could do a party for them at the beach instead.
Service was mostly excellent, low in staff numbers in some areas, the most obvious being breakfast at Flavours.
We did wine tasting at Oliva and the deluxe cruise. This was a brilliant 3hrs spent with Chrysa, George & Maria. Chrysa has so much energy, we had a great time.
I would like to mention a few staff who went above & beyond, professional, personable and such a delight to encounter:
Nikos - our deluxe concierge- a wonderful ambassador for Ikos, they will be sad to see him leave when he goes to do his masters degree. We wish him all the luck in the world and we hope our paths cross again sometime.
Amisi - our great towel ambassador, quiet, unassuming guy, asante sana.
Deluxe pool - Gianluca, makes a great G&T from his little cart. Nahuel who must do 1000 laps of the pool each day, thankyou for looking after us all.
Azul cocktail superstar - Czara
Ouzo - the beautiful Erasmia, you will go far.
Our lovely Antiopi, we wish you well in your career.
I’m sorry I haven’t named more people as they work very hard for their guests.
Will see you again next year.
