Corfu Holiday Palace

Cannot thank this hotel enough. After being treated terribly on our honeymoon by another hotel who had double booked us and left us to fend for ourselves, the staff here went above and beyond. On checking in mimi on reception saw how upset I was and upgraded us complementary. I was so touched I cried. The manager then sent us up wine, fruit and macaroons and checked on me personally for 2 days after. They are wonderful people. Lovely hotel and lovely staff.

Stayed at the Holiday Palace for 6 nights as part of a two week holiday in Corfu and overall we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. We were upgraded to a lovely room on the top floor with excellent views of the pool area and sea . We were surprised with wine and fruit on a couple of days thank you. Whilst it was warm at night, we found sleeping with the balcony sliding door open with the curtains closed was more effective than the air conditioning. Pool area was fine and well looked after. The beach area was just reopening after the storms earlier this year. The bar overlooking Kanoni had just reopened and was very chilled. Breakfast was excellent every day with a vast selection of hot and cold items and an outstanding bakery section. The inclusive dinner buffet was plentiful and generally good with plenty of choice . We found that eating earlier was better than later with more choice and warmer food. The food beside the chef section could certainly benefit from better buffet hot lights. Location of the hotel in Kanoni is perfect and the bus service outside cheap and reliable into town. The hotel has had a lot of investment but as with all hotels of an age there will be an ongoing plan . The real success of this hotel is the friendly staff in all areas who go the extra mile and are ready to help - Noted for their great service were Maria and Vasilis in reception, Aljon and Jame-boy by the pool area, Twinkle and Mary Rose in the Restaurant and of course Spiros who oversees the restaurant at all times. Recommend Corfu off season in May and September to avoid the crowds !

We stayed at the hotel for a week... It's true that the hotel wasn't built a year ago, but who cares when the service at the hotel is at a very high level... Starting with Leonora in Guest Relations who made sure to fulfill our every request at any time. And when we return to Corfu and we will definitely return to the Corfu Holiday Palace hotel... It's mainly thanks to Leonora who made sure that our stay would be more than wonderful... And continuing with sofia At the front desk, who helped us a lot...and we'll continue with Samir in the entrance and parking area, who was very helpful...and of course Spyros and the staff in the dining room who are of a very high standard with a rich and delicious variety... (and we in Israel know what a good breakfast is)... And what can I say about the location of the hotel and the view from it, and ending with a private beach with a bar, sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge... I recommend a room with a shared pool. Excellent for a couple with 2 adults (there is a separation between the parents' room and the children's bed area)
