This resort is designed in Corfiote style and surrounded by a natural landscape of olive trees and the beautiful blue sea.
The resort is a little village with courtyards and flagstone streets, spacious fresh gardens for leisure walking, benches, fountains, a small lake and a church. There are 257 rooms all together, along with a bar, a cafΓ©, a restaurant, a children's playground, conference facilities, a TV lounge and air conditioning in public areas.
The buildings are constructed with ceramic tiles and arches, providing comfortable rooms, all with a bath, large veranda or balcony, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar and music. Some come with individual air conditioning.
Leisure facilities include 2 swimming pools, a pool bar, tennis courts, beach volleyball, mini football, basketbal and water sports.
The resort has a restaurant, cafΓ© and bar. The restaurant features international cuisine and Greek specialties. Breakfast and dinner are available buffet style and lunch is Γ la carte.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Well, where do I start?! π
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was 5-star! βββββ
All of the staff β from the restaurants and lifeguards to the cleaners β were incredibly friendly, helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble.
The buffet restaurant in the evening had everything you could wish for and catered for all dietary requirements. The drinks were flowing, and there was endless ice cream β what more could you ask for?! π¦πΉ
You must book the Γ la carte restaurants at the beginning of your stay, and they were a real treat. The food and service were fantastic.
The slides close for two hours over lunchtime, which I actually think is an excellent idea β no tears or arguments trying to get the kids out of the pool for lunch! π
There were always plenty of sunbeds available, and it was so nice not to see people reserving beds at 6am. There are clear signs asking guests not to reserve them, and it really did make things so much more relaxed.
The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, with loungers and a bar right on the corner of the complex, making it so easy to grab a drink while enjoying the beach. ποΈ
I could honestly write so much more, but I wouldnβt want to spoil it! Iβm actually writing this on the bus heading to the airport and I already want to come back! β€οΈ
What a relaxing, amazing break β and one that was very much needed. Thank you for the memories!
Beautiful all inclusive hotel. Gorgeous pool areas and lovely stylish bar. The room/bathrooms are modern and spacious with lovely decor. The main buffet restaurant served beautiful food which varied all week from day to day. Such a big delicious selection for all under much needed cool air con! Children had plenty to choose from if they are fussy eaters and the never-ending ice cream was a hit! The snack bar was popular with our son each day, which runs from lunch time (midday) - 6pm. The three A La Carte restaurants are all great too. Pool open until 7pm. No massive rush for loungers really early in the morning which was lovely. All taken by mid morning in peak season. The beach was a short stroll away. Warm clean water on a shingle beach with bars all along. Very rustic and Greek. Brilliant! Take beach shoes! Bus trips from hotel door to Corfu Town and boat trips from the estuary by the beach front are only a 3 minute walk from resort. Towels for the sun loungers supplied daily if you want them. Hotel staff are all very friendly and so helpful, except one older gent on the pool bar! Only negative was towel changing in the room is every 3 days (if that), which we understand is good for the planet, but sharing a room with children means they get filthy and sun creamy, plus they get slung on the floors, so would have loved more clean towels. The rooms aren't cleaned daily either. Sand stayed on the floor all week. Tea and coffee never topped up for the entire week. These are our only complaints, as everything else was so good.
We booked our stay in Sentido Apollo as a family, booking one of their deluxe twin rooms with private pool and terrace, which slept the three of us. Having use of our own pool meant that we could balance the busier time around the hotel pools with more intimate family time which we all benefited from. As well as the seats around the patio area, we also had a day bed which we appreciated and made use of. It was our first time going all inclusive and I think we all enjoyed the freedom of being able to get drinks and food throughout the day as we needed it. The staff throughout the hotel were not only polite but friendly and this included bar staff, porters, cleaners, kids entertainers etc. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis and we were able to access not only clean towels for our room but also for use around the pool. The rest of the hotel was also clean and well maintained. Having water slides and also games being held in one of the pools meant that our son was occupied and he enjoyed the independence of being able to move between the pools as he wanted too. There was also a quiet pool for those who wanted a more relaxing experience. Its an ideal hotel for families, and the majority of guests seemed to be family groups. This could bother couples who perhaps were looking for a more peaceful or adult orientated hotel but it suited us completely. It felt very secure due to the security on the gate and the amount of staff that were also present and offering to help. We arrived later on the first night and the porter not only took us to our room in his golf buggy but then took us to the restaurant so that we didn't miss our evening meal. The main restaurant has a couple of themed nights and the food was always plentiful and tasty. There were also 3 alternative a la carte restaurants on site for those wanting a more individualised experience. There were also some lovely shops and restaurants in Messonghi, and it was easy to get the local bus into Old Corfu for the day, with a stop being just outside the hotel.
