Five star experience.
From start to finish this hotel was wonderful. We were warmly greeted and the guy that took us to our room was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an executive suite with private pool and it was everything we hoped it would be. The room was spotless and the pool was a lot bigger than I had imagined-although it was freezing! The room had everything we needed and the air con was great. We only had breakfast here but the choices were excellent and quality was five star. Staff were all friendly. The beach bar had great food which we had a couple of days but then ventured out to some local restaurants which were all good. The beach was well managed and I liked the added touch of the water that was provided. The sea was a lovely temperature too. The sun beds were the most comfortable beds we had ever sat on. There’s nothing negative I can say and would highly recommend.

Came with high expectations and left surprised
It was our first stay at Olivar. We missed it last year, so this year it had to be.
We arrived early, around 10 AM. Check-in wasn’t possible yet, but they made every effort to make us feel welcomed. They offered us breakfast and let us know that our room would be ready at 1 PM, even though the official check-in time is at 3 PM. At 1 PM, we were in our room. We immediately felt the care and the great hospitality they offer.
We stayed in a Junior Suite with a Private Pool and overall, we were very pleased with the room in every aspect.
Breakfast has a fantastic buffet with a wide selection including a few traditional Greek options and some delicious à la carte choices as well. After the third day, they already knew our “routine” and anticipated our choices, which I personally appreciated a lot.
The whole team is amazing — from reception to the beach and bar staff, breakfast team, housekeeping, even the pool cleaning guy was so nice. Everyone was super attentive, ready to help and genuinely focused on making everything smooth and seamless for you.
The attention to detail in general is amazing.
The cleanliness throughout the hotel is maintained to a high standard, something we noticed and truly appreciated.
The spa is also great — professional personnel and it has a very relaxing and cozy atmosphere.
The location is wonderful and so well maintained in every aspect. With so many plants and so much vegetation around, it’s not easy to keep everything looking so beautiful and well cared for, we really appreciated the effort that goes into it.
Everything put together makes this place unique. It has a special feeling, something that is difficult to explain but there is definitely something special.
We had dinner once at the Flya Restaurant… the team is super attentive. The food was great as well. One small minus: we were still eating our starter when the main course was served. It felt a little bit awkward and unexpected for this standard, although it didn’t bother us too much. A little more attention to the timing would improve the overall experience.
It’s rare to leave a place feeling that every little detail, every interaction and every person contributed to the experience.
We will definitely be back. Olivar has that special something that stays with you even after you leave — and for me, that says it all.
Best beach front spot you can find
This is probably the best beach front hotel we have stayed. The sea water is amazing, clean, transparent and very calm since it is well protected by the bay. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in one of the rooms with a small garden and direct access to the beach which gives you flexibility to swim at any hour. There is a very nice restaurant by the pool and a bar with spectacular sea view but also there are many nice taverns with great traditional Greek food. And above all this place has the best possible service: discrete and effective, flexible and efficient, informative and friendly
Another amazing stay
This hotel just gets better every time, My sixth visit, and already booked for next year. The Olivar makes it very difficult to find another alternative holiday destination. Unfortunately I had a fall while there. The staff were absolutely amazing. So kind and understanding. Thank you once again for my amazing hotel.
Beautiful place amazing week.
What an amazing place, highly recommend for a week of relaxation and being looked after. Myself and my husband stayed at olivar suites (half board) for our honeymoon for a week early September. The Corfu weather was perfect, highs of 30/32 degrees and cooler in the mornings & evenings (no jacket or jumper required). The hotel is stunning, and surrounded & covered with lavender. Whilst the hotel is family friendly and there were families there with young kids, it was still quiet and relaxing, it still felt like it could have been an adults only hotel, especially with the option of private pools & terraces. We stayed in a junior suite with private pool and private terrace, which we firmly believe was worth the extra money. We loved coming back to our private pool late afternoon to cool down and relax before getting ready for dinner. The room was amazing, very calming and clean with excellent air con and ceiling fan. The room needed a small amount of TLC - just signs of use, nothing major. The bed was massive and we loved that, but the pillows weren't great and the mattress was very hard which we both found quite uncomfortable by the last night. The flya restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner : absolutely beautiful food, fine dining / al a carte menu is some of the most incredible food we've ever eaten. The Oli bar also has an amazing menu of delicious food and drinks & cocktails. The olibar, which is on the beach front, was our favourite place to chill and relax especially in the evening - the view is just stunning, views of mainland Greece and Albania and the beautiful blue sea. There is a private beach front with sunbeds in front of the bar, for olivar suites only. The beach is clean and the sea is crystal clear. You can take towels from the beach and get new ones whenever you wish. Bar service to the sunbeds is also available at the press of a button! There is a good size hotel pool next to the bar and restaurant which is gorgeous! Very very clean. One thing I noted was the grass by the pool and the garden in our room could have used some TLC too, the grass was messy and dead grass and big leaves were left on the ground. The hotel staff were amazing, they cannot do enough for you, simple things like carrying our suitcases and topping up our water for you - you literally don't have to think - they were all so kind and caring it really made the stay even better. Whilst we were there, we wanted to go on a boat trip to paxos/antipaxos the blue caves and the blue lagoon (really really recommend a trip to the blue lagoon, it was so surreal to swim with the fish in the clearest bluest waters we've ever seen.) the hotel organised this for us and we recommend a semi private boat trip as it was a smaller boat. But the hotel also offer a private boat trip if you want to splash out on hiring a yacht for the day. The hotel made everything so easy for us, booking transfers and taxis when we wanted to visit Old Town - the hotel taxi driver George was incredibly helpful and offered us recommendations and said to call him with any questions or problems. We felt so looked after it was lovely. We also booked in for a massage with the hotel spa, my husband enjoyed his but I do not feel my back massage was worth it. I've had better massages back home for a 3rd of the price. But was still relaxing (and that's just my opinion) The hotel was just perfect and exactly what we needed it to be. We would definitely love to return one day. Highly recommend.
