Good atmosphere and very friendly staff.The drivers was exellent .The food was delicious .For sure i come back .

We arrived at 1am on September 13th - dropped off by the driver on the side of the main road, told to just walk up a dark dingy alley, it took us 15 minutes to find the reception as there was no signage, nobody to meet us, and as it was the middle of the night, it was almost pitch black outside. Thinking back, this was a red flag that the rest of our stay was going to be terrible.

On our first day, I turned the shower on which leaked everywhere, it saturated the bathroom, all the towels, toilet paper, hairdryer, and all our toiletries. The shower head was moldy, so was the bathroom drain and floor. *This issue was the only one resolved, the shower leak was fixed.

We went to reception as we were not happy with the room, for multiple reasons. The leaking shower, multiple days without hot water, the surrounding area was derelict, bags of garbage left outside the room, cockroaches...the list goes on.

The 'Manager' did not even come out to the reception desk to see us, we had to go back to his office where he sat leant back in his chair with his feet up on a box. He said we had booked the Annex (my confirmation does not state anywhere that it was an Annex room, it says Double Standard).....and so he would show us another room, but because other people paid more than us, he would only show us a lower category room, which was across the street at the pool complex. This room was tiny and awful. We complained again, and asked to be moved to a more acceptable room, he told us to go away and he would do nothing for us. He was not interested in helping us at all, because we did not offer him any 'money'..he clearly wanted us to provide him with an incentive before he would even consider helping us.

I paid over £2100 for this holiday, just on the travel and hotel, before you add on what I spent on airport parking, travel insurance etc.....But yet we had not paid enough, this so-called Manager was disgusting and treated us like we were dirt on the bottom of his shoes.

The pool area was gross, the pool is not cleaned, they just dump chemicals in it at night, there is mold everywhere. The pool bathrooms are also not cleaned, with urine and feces on the floor. There is also a sign that says people cannot reserve sunbeds, but every morning by 7am, all the loungers had towels on them, and the staff did nothing about it. A majority of the guests who reserved the loungers in the morning, then did not return for hours.

There are so many other things I could complain about, the food was not great, very repetitive, always cold. We were never told anything about the hotel on arrival, where anything was, nothing about the Italian restaurant that could be booked. Also, I had to assist with first aid on TWO occasions, both quite serious incidents, as the staff were clueless and refused to help. This is not acceptable.

This is the first holiday we have been on in four years, I saved for a long time to be able to afford what I thought was going to be a nice holiday - it was not. It was disappointing from arrival to departure. I reached out to Thomas Cook by email and whatsapp on our first day, who did nothing but tell me they are liaising with the hotel, or liaising with their supplier, but nothing was ever done. The only thing they did was tell me to go back and speak to the same manager!! We were there for a week, complained on the first day, September 13th, and we still have not had any sort of resolution and it is now September 23rd.

The only good thing about this hotel, was the lovely lady who drove the golf cart. She was a star!

There is also now a note on Trip Advisor that their reviews are being investigated for being fraudulent!
