We felt the accomodation was tired and dated. We stayed in the Annex which was disconnected, and the rooms are badly in need of modernisation. Whilst there was a bar that served coffee in the morning, it didn't open until 10am, so a ten minute walk for a morning coffee. The food was very tasty, however with it being all inclusive, only small plates were available, which gave the place a school cafeteria vibe. Such a shame as the food was delicious. Personally I wouldn't call this hotel 4 star, 3 stars at best. Pools were busy and overcrowded, no chance of a sun lounger by the main pools after 10am. It also felt isolated, around 25 minutes walk up some serious terrain to Agia Pelagia, lovely town. The highlight by far was Tsimento Beach, maybe the nicest beach I've ever been to. This is connected to the much nicer, and more expensive Peninsula hotel, but is open to the public, so we spent most of our time there.

Honest review
Really chilled week at Blue Bay. We stayed in the Annexe closest to the main hotel. I called ahead to request this and luckily this was accommodated. We had 2 double rooms which were totally acceptable with great views and a short walk to the pool/bars/restaurant. The food is as you would expect for all inclusive. We could always find something different to try. The gyros were particularly good as well as the desserts. Drinks - so it was v clear on booking that this is limited to Greek spirits, wine and beer. I’m not sure why they do this as it’s the only thing (imo) that is a negative at this hotel. We mixed and matched and bought some drinks to make this work for us but it is a bit annoying when everything else is so good. Final mention to the staff who are excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. They all work really hard to ensure everyone has a relaxing holiday. NB Nemo’s bar at the beach at the bottom of the hill is fab for snacks and cocktails !

Very disappointed
The hotel is nice. We booked through "Love Holidays" we won't use them again... We was promised a two bedroom with a hot tub & sea view as we paid for it... What we got was a basic open plan room with a view of an abandoned building it looked like.
We moved rooms as we wasn't happy, the room was better but not what we payed for.
As for the food & drink, the food wasn't too bad, what you'd expect in an all inclusive. As for the drinks... If you don't like the taste of licorice then your buggered really. The only spirits available on the all inclusive menue is ouzo or rakki. If you want vodka, JD, rum or anyone weather spoon cheap drink you've got no chance. You can't even get a Corona beer without being asked for €7.
