Staff are nice and friendly.
We had a mountain view which was more in between two walls and stairs but was nice enough :) where our room was situated was at back of hotel near back road so could gain entrance from back street as opposed to walking through hotel, so was like our own private entrance which was nice.
We found the room clean enough and bedding and facilities were okay.
The food was nice, breakfast is 7.30am-10am near pool.
WiFi has good connection no problems.
There's a lot of steps and the lifts aren't very good, its like a maze and too much after a tipple or meal, 2 leads back down to 1 which is actually 3 which is actually back on 2 which is actually up on 3, difficult for carrying suitcases although staff assisted us on day 1 to room and carried case for us, which was very much welcomed.
There's a small pool which isnt deep more for cooling off or paddling, but much quieter.
The other pool is deeper but not much room to walk around if full, due to narrow parameters and sunbeds.
The surroundings are very hilly If you aren't fit then you will struggle Not great for elderly or disabled individuals, myself and my partner are quite fit, in good health and struggled getting up almost vertical hills, slippy at times too.
Arrived approx 11.45pm to which staff offered to make us a small snack after long journey which was welcomed.
Would recommend heading to lividi beach, del mare cafe.
Offered drinks on the house on last day when leaving, which was a nice touch. Small hotel so you become familiar with other guests around.
Can be improved by some games in foyer or the tv on or some entertainment.
But overall enjoyed stay and would recommend.

Bali Diamond Dream
What an amazing find this hotel was..absolutely gorgeous...hotel is in a prime location overlooking the beach, central for everything.. We booked a superior sea view, & it was stunning, we had a huge outdoor patio , equipped with sunbeds and a table & chairs...room was clean and comfortable, well equipped.. Lovely pool, & the hotel is blissfully child free, so no little horrors to disturb the serene vibe of the hotel.. Breakfast is served by the pool, & has a good selection of hot and cold food, fresh fruits, coffee , juice.. All staff are very friendly, including Nikos who helped us with our luggage...excellent bar, with quality drinks and good service .hotel not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, as lifts dont go to all floors.. Bali Diamond is definitely a gem

Lovely hotel right on the beach front. Be aware of the steps and some floors aren’t served by lifts … we also didn’t realise it was maybe better to come in the hotel from the top main road. Breakfast was lovely and all you need. Rooms were clean , and modern and the family that run the place were friendly and helpful . Would stay again for sure

A great choice for a peaceful holiday
We had a really lovely stay at Bali Diamond Hotel and would definitely recommend it.
The hotel was very clean throughout our stay, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in on holiday. Our room was cleaned regularly, the air conditioning worked really well, and the Wi-Fi was reliable throughout the hotel, including in the rooms, around the pool and in the café.
The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and always happy to help. The breakfast had a good selection each morning, so there was always something to choose from.
One thing we really liked was that we never had to rush down to reserve sunbeds. There were always plenty available, even at the end of July/beginning of August. There’s a main pool and a second, quieter pool a little further up the hotel, which was a nice option. The hotel itself is fairly small, giving it a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel also has a lovely café serving drinks and snacks throughout the day. We especially enjoyed the smoothies and iced coffees, and they also offer pancakes, waffles and ice cream. These are an additional cost, but we found the prices very reasonable and it was a great option for lunch or an afternoon treat.
The location was great for us. There’s a beach directly opposite the hotel, with sunbeds available to hire if you want them. We didn’t use them ourselves as we preferred the pool, but they were around €12 for two sunbeds for the day. There are also three restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. If you head towards the harbour, you’ll find even more restaurants, bars and shops.
Like much of Bali, the area is quite hilly. The hotel is situated towards the bottom of one of the main hills, so it’s worth bearing that in mind if you have mobility issues. We didn’t mind the walk, but it is steep in places, especially in flip-flops. There’s also a little tourist train that runs up and down the hill if you’d rather not walk. At the top of the hill, just a couple of minutes away, there are two supermarkets which were really handy.
The whole area felt much quieter and less touristy than some other resorts, which we really enjoyed. It was a peaceful place to relax, even during the peak summer season. At the same time, there were plenty of excursions and activities available nearby, so it was easy to mix relaxing by the pool with days out exploring the island.
On our last day, our flight wasn’t until the evening, and the hotel was very accommodating. They stored our luggage in reception after we checked out, so we were able to spend the day by the pool before leaving. They also provided access to a shower before we travelled home, which was really appreciated.
For anyone booking a package holiday, the transfer from Heraklion Airport took around 45 minutes, which we found very convenient.
One thing to be aware of is the Greek Climate Resilience Tax, which applies to all hotels. For this four-star hotel it was €10 per night, charged per room rather than per person. You can pay this either during your stay or when you check in or out, depending on the hotel’s preference. It’s a government tax rather than a hotel charge, so it’s worth factoring into your holiday budget.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. It was clean, comfortable, well located and offered everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely small hotel, great staff.
Small but lovely hotel steps from the beach. Modern and airy with lovely well appointed rooms, comfy beds, air con,nice shower, internet tv but wifi for guests can be patchy in the rooms. In room safe free.
Very clean with towels for room and beach / pool changed every third day.
Breakfast is buffet style, don't expect cooked to order but every day was fresh and nice with lots of choices. Served at the pool bar with a lovely view. Evening & daytime snacks can be ordered from the bar but would recommend many of the local tavernas especially Nest in the next bay to the north.
Staff were all friendly and helpful, all very chatty and nice. Be prepared for hills & steps both in the hotel & outside.
Beach is nice for swimming, sunbeds 20euros for the nicer ones close to the edge. Lots of locals using the beach also. Food & drinks service from the hotel to the beach.
Lots of nationalities in the hotel and a range of ages but quiet.
Showers & toilets by pool can be used for later transfers as our room being used that day & checkout 12 noon.
Don't forget there is a 10 euro per day tax for a four star hotel payable at the end of your stay. This is a government tax and not the hotel.
We paid €80 for private transfers from Heraklion. Would recommend doing so as busses struggle to get to reception.
Overall, would happily go back.
