The Filion Suites Resort and Spa is a tranquil traditionally styled property offering excellent accommodation on a 17 acre plot surrounded by olive trees close to the village of Bali (2 km). Bali itself has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants and a small, well protected bay that is excellent for swimming and water sports and with a complimentary shuttle bus service 7 times from 09.00am to 18.00 pm daily to the beach, guests can get there with ease. The taste of a cocktail or a snack next to the sea breeze is a memorable experience. The friendly water sports staff, will welcome the guests for a trip around the bay on a water-ski or fun-ride or take it easy in a canoe or pedalo with local charge. Private yachts, motorboats and catamarans are available for rent and sail, too. Tours/excursions service, wake up service , ironing service and a luggage storage is available. There are plenty of facilities for everyone at the Filion Suites including three renovated large outdoor swimming pools, two outdoor children's pools, tennis court / basketball ground / table tennis, a kids play area, an indoor playroom and a conference hall. The spacious fully renovated outside area with private terraces overlooking the beautiful gardens provide stunning views of the majestic Cretan landscape. Guests will also find an internet corner and those with their own computer can enjoy FREE Wi-Fi connection ALL around the Resort. The hotel offers also currency facilities to change on-site and the reception stuff will advise you how to visit the famous Cretan sightseeing. Every Thursday noon a cooking lesson by creating Greek Specialties is provided free from our kitchen Chef. New deluxe stylish room
We had an amazing stay at Filion Suite. Very impressed with the facilities food and service provided. The staff went above and beyond especially when we needed to travel to Bali. We’ll recommended.
Amazing stay
Having an amazing stay at the Filion suite resort spa in Crete . Been upgraded to a villa which is amazing thanks to the women in reception especially Regina (erigina) not sure how to spell it sorry , who had been fantastic and very helpful. And this is only day 1 . 5 * from us x
Filion Hotel – a peaceful oasi
This beautiful resort is surrounded by breathtaking mountains, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with truly unforgettable views. From the moment you arrive, you feel that you have found a very special place.
We stayed in a Deluxe room, which was modern, stylish and minimalist, with an exceptional view of the sea. Every detail seemed to have been carefully considered for the guests’ comfort. Even the mattress was of the highest quality, clearly chosen to ensure a wonderful night’s sleep.
The hospitality from the management was absolutely outstanding. You feel as though you have arrived at the home of your best friends rather than at a hotel. The team is incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to recommend places to visit, suggest what to see and help organize excursions.
A very special thank you to Regina ❤️ She is truly a professional in her field and, in my opinion, the heart and soul of this hotel. Her warmth, care and personality create a unique atmosphere that makes the stay even more memorable.
The entire staff is friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The food is also very good, with plenty of variety, so everyone can find something they enjoy.
One of the hotel’s wonderful features is its own beautiful beach, a true little piece of Crete. It is easily accessible by the hotel’s shuttle bus, which makes enjoying the sea even more convenient.
I cannot wait to return to this wonderful hotel and continue exploring the beautiful island of Crete. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special and unforgettable. ❤️
Good value, small downsides
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. It is advertised as a five-star hotel online, although given the price we paid, we didn’t arrive expecting a true five-star experience. With that in mind, we were very happy with what we got for our money.
The staff are lovely, the facilities are good, and there are plenty of sunbeds, so you’re never struggling to find one. Bali is very close by and Karavostasi Beach is lovely and definitely worth visiting.
There are a couple of downsides. The Wi-Fi is poor if your room is away from the main hotel area, and the bar food available between lunch and dinner is atrocious. Make sure you don’t miss lunch, otherwise you’ll be hungry until dinner starts at 6:45pm, as even the small hotel shop closes during this period.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and, for the price we paid, felt the hotel represented excellent value for money. Just don’t book expecting the level of luxury you would normally associate with a five-star resort.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed our holiday.
The rooms were clean and tidy, and housekeeping was provided every day. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist.
The food at the restaurant was varied and delicious. Breakfast was especially enjoyable, with fresh juice available every morning. Throughout the day, there were also plenty of different snacks available.
I would especially like to mention Alexander, the bartender. He is definitely the right person for the job! Not only does he recommend and prepare delicious cocktails, but he is also very helpful and happy to answer any questions you may have.
Overall, this is a lovely hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We would be happy to come back!
