STOP THE MUSIC !
I would have liked to have written a 5* review - the staff are wonderful, the beach is lovely and the sea warm and calm. Rooms are good (we had a 2-bed villa with pool with a sea-view). Food is good and absolutely outstanding at Makris, the buggy system to get guests to and from beach, restaurants is fun and efficient but…(and there is a big ‘but’. The background music in the reception, the restaurants , bars , swimming pools -everywhere is not background music; it is not blaring but blasting out. Terrible and incessant covers of songs drown out everything else to the point that breakfast/lunch/supper at Antonios ( and all the other restaurants) have to be taken outside (providing you speak up) because you actually cannot have a conversation. We went to the beach to escape but there is no escape as there are speakers dotted throughout and instead of being able to relax and listen to the sound of the sea you have someone trilling out an unrecognisable “A Town Called Malice’ by The Jam. I was with my son and thankfully my husband wasn’t there as he would not have been able to stand it. It is for this reason sadly, we wouldn’t be able to return. Music is such a personal thing and to force (and i mean FORCE) people to listen to really dreadful singing at full blast everywhere they go is extraordinary . One night we sat outside the reception bar (to try and tone down the worst) and suddenly it stopped…there was live music - a man began to play instruments and it was literally music to our ears.

Highly recommended
Just spent 5 nights here and we had a superb relaxing break. Highlights were the suite with the plunge pool, the private beach and the attentive friendly staff. Special mention to Petros who gave us such a warm welcome and a full run down of facilities and events. Finally, the views from the resort are absolutely stunning!
A fabulous stay at Domes of Elounda!
We spent four days at Domes of Elounda and had a truly fabulous stay. From the moment we arrived, everything felt relaxed, beautiful and very welcoming. The setting is simply stunning, with incredible sea views and such a peaceful atmosphere.
A special thank you to Aleksandros, Stella and their wonderful team. They were all fantastic — warm, attentive and genuinely lovely throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and made us feel very well looked after.
We loved the beautiful outdoor spaces, the views, the relaxed atmosphere and simply being able to switch off and enjoy our time together.
Four days went far too quickly! We would happily return and would definitely recommend Domes of Elounda to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay in Crete. ❤️

Amazing Hotel!
Hotel was great. Location was superb and the staff was more than accommodating. Pedro was really friendly and helped us during our stay. We will come back!

Another memorable stay at Domes resorts
Our stay at Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection was truly exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every way.
The resort felt elegant, exclusive, and incredibly relaxing. The setting is spectacular, with breathtaking views over Spinalonga and Elounda Bay. The view comes at the cost of steep hills, but shuttle buggies are widely available and convenient.
Our accommodation was beautifully appointed, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The service throughout our stay was outstanding — the staff were warm, discreet, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience special.
The restaurants on site were another highlight. There was an excellent variety of dining options. Makris, under MICHELIN-starred Chef Petros Dimas, with beautifully presented dishes, high-quality ingredients, and wonderful service. Vilebrequine La Plage at the seafront with excellent choice of Mediterranean cuisine and fresh fish and sea food. CORE, with traditional Greek cuisine at a street-food setting. Breakfast with plenty of high quality options and barista coffee drinks.
Plenty of options to choose across pools, private beach with calm and shallow waters.
A truly memorable experience. We left feeling completely relaxed and very well looked after, and we would absolutely love to return.
