Lovely hotel
Wi fi was a little slow and not available to download in certain areas. ( downstairs in the two bedroom property). We loved the hotel. The staff in the main restaurant were brilliant. It was the best buffet style food we have had anywhere. Didn’t need to go to any of the à la carte restaurants because of the high standard of food in the main restaurant and the limited choices in the à la carte restaurants. The only downside to the hotel is its location. There is no where that we felt was suitable to go for a nice little walk after dinner. The standard of the entertainment however helped mitigate this.

Amazing Hotel - Highly recommend
I loved my time at the Anemos, I highly recommend! On arrival we were sat down and was brought a fresh Greek cocktail and very quickly checked in with a helpful insight to where everything is in the hotel and what we could book. Would recommend all inclusive as the buffet food is excellent, so much choice, look out for the omelet chef, as a bit hidden (outside area). You can also use the other restaurants for lunch and 3 of them for dinner, the Asian was amazing. Set menu in all but lovely food. The service around the pool is hit and miss, I feel the staff behind the bar are young and need more training on how to make the cocktails and pour a glass of prosecco? the evening staff in the bars much better. Entertainment every night is excellent, a show per night and great seating area where waiters take your drinks order. There is TV's located if you wish to watch football, my partner was glad not to miss the Chelsea game! We got upgraded to a room with a shared pool, that was a real treat and the rooms are cleaned so well every day with fresh towels. Staff in the evenings in the buffet restaurant are very quick with taking your drinks order and bring it to you. The hotel is so well set out, the pool being the central point and everything else around it. I would've liked a little more atmosphere in the pink bar (forget it's name) but pretty bar! The beach is stunning, powdery sand and beds on beach so comfortable and they again bring you drinks and food. The childrens pool is away from the main pool, you wouldn't even know it was there, which was good for us and we are a couple, so no noisy children! Few minutes to the beach via a tunnel under the road or a buggy will drive you. Drinks are of a high standard. Hotel is all lit up at night and looks so pretty, Recommend getting the little train outside the hotel that takes you to Lake Kournas, beautiful fresh water lake where you can hire pedalos and excellent tavernas. I enjoyed my week so much, we didn't want to leave, thank you to all the staff at Anemos, reception team, especially, so friendly!!
Can’t give 5 stars this time.
This our 3rd visit to this beautiful resort and as in previous years we are enjoying the beautiful surroundings, food and hospitality. We are in a shared pool room which turns out to be very disappointing, as the sun hardly reaches this side of the building and certainly doesn’t touch our patio or sun loungers so we need to move to the main pool area or beach to catch the sun. If we decide to return next year I will probably book a basic room as there’s no point in paying for facilities we can’t use, Inside the room there is only one available plug socket which sits in the middle of the wall so I have had to unplug the bedside lamp in order to charge phones etc. There are three single beds, two of which have been dressed as single beds and then pushed together, I really don’t get the logic in that! We’re a couple in our 70’s and 80’s so when the rain was torrential a couple of days ago, we decided to order food to our room plus we had only been left one bath towel so needed to contact reception, however our room phone was quite dead. We reported it to reception that evening but as of yet it hasn’t been repaired. Otherwise the room has everything you need, full length mirror, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and plenty of toiletries, although some facial tissues in the bathroom would be nice. I would still highly recommend this hotel, our disappointment is purely down to our room allocation.
Beautiful hotel but be wary when booking a room with a private pool
A beautiful and stylish hotel with very friendly and helpful staff with a beautiful pool area and plenty of comfy sunbeds. The quality of the food was outstanding.
For the first time ever I booked a room with a private pool and this was our biggest disappointment about our stay because our private pool and sun terrace were north facing and remained in the shade for pretty most of the day. This meant we didn’t use it and had to go to the main pool area every day because we wanted to be in the sun. Having paid extra for this type of room this was very disappointing because I feel that we didn’t get value for our money. The rooms with private pools are only worth booking if you can guarantee a south facing room.
The entertainment shows in the evening were good but they only lasted for about an hour finishing by 10.30. There was no music being played in this entertainment area before or after the show so it was lacking in atmosphere and as a result the majority of guests tended to leave and head back to their rooms as soon as the show finished leaving the area pretty empty from 10.30. This left us feeling you like our evening was over at that point. Music needs to continue to be played between 10.30 and midnight to create / maintain a better atmosphere - it doesn’t have to be loud but this is an area that could definitely be improved.
Lovely hotel
This is an amazing hotel. We had a lovely room with a private pool. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable.
All staff were fantastic — shout out to Svetlana.
The food in the buffet was SO GOOD. And the desserts were amazing. On our last night, we even had a white chocolate fountain.
We loved our time here and would go back.
