Outstanding holiday
Spent 10 nights at the lovely Mythos Hotel & Spa, myself and husband along with our son his partner and 3 month old granddaughter.
We booked this hotel based on the reviews and we were certainly not disappointed. The whole team were certainly very proud to work in the hotel and took pride in their work..
There are many to mention , there attentiveness to us all was 2nd to none. They provided a bottle steriliser and bath for our granddaughter, a welcome touch.
On arrival greeted with a much needed cool refreshment. Our rooms were just perfect , however just when we thought it could not get any better after our 2nd night we were upgraded to the only 2 bedroom suite beach facing and large private pool which surpassed all our expectations. A special thank you to Angelika and Illias for arranging this it really made our stay and we all were truly grateful.
The food choice is excellent, a special mention to the Arabic restaurant so good we went twice. The main pool area was clean and what also was noted was the fact that you did not need to wake up early to secure a sunbed as the 1st 2 days we used the main pool items were removed which was good to see their pool rules of sunbeds was carried out.
The hotel was extremely clean and polished. We could not fault anything about the hotel, location or staff , you truly looked after everyone.
Location perfect, 5 minutes to the large supermarket if you need it as well a little train takes you to various sightseeing places, Lake Kournas was beautiful and definitely worth the time spent there and a swim in the only freshwater lake in Crete. Georgioupolis only up the road and worth the visit, the walk on the rocks out to sea to visit the little church is worth it. From the gorges to the waterfalls that you can visit on the hop on hop off train was perfect. The beach was excellent with soft sand, a couple of days the water was like a lake with hardly any waves, again just perfect. Great beach bar and beach restaurant .
We took a taxi to Rethymon lovely place where we spent the evening with some lovely restaurants.
I would highly recommend this hotel for families / couples or solo travellers . If you want a mix of a great location / great hotel / excellent service with the right mix of rest and relaxation as well as sightseeing then this is the place to go.
Thank you Mythos Palace Hotel & Spa, it is no surprise of the awards that adorned the walls.

Wonderful holiday
Beautiful hotel. Room was lovely. Slight issue with shower but was fixed within 30mins of reporting. Staff were lovely and attentive. All areas, restaurants and bars were clean. Beach was good. Never an issue getting sunbeds. Food was beautiful and lots of choice.

Best holiday ever
This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The location is fantastic, a beautiful beach with plenty of sunbeds. The food is amazing, fresh, plentiful and with lots of choice. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I are currently enjoying our stay at Mythos Palace Resort & Spa, with just one more day of our holiday remaining, and I already know that we will be leaving with the most wonderful and memorable memories. From the moment we arrived, we have been impressed by the unique atmosphere of this beautiful hotel. What makes Mythos Palace truly special, however, is its people. The warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality of the entire team have made our stay feel truly exceptional. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional and incredibly kind. Their attention to detail and genuine smiles created an atmosphere that made us feel not simply like guests, but truly welcomed and looked after. The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very well maintained, with wonderful facilities throughout. Everything is presented to an excellent standard, and the cleanliness deserves a special mention. The dining experience has also been outstanding. There is an impressive variety of beautifully prepared food, with something to suit every taste, and everything we have tried has been fresh and absolutely delicious. We have genuinely looked forward to every meal. I would particularly like to express my heartfelt thanks to Bilyna, whose hospitality has been exceptional. She is always smiling, welcoming and attentive, and provides service with such warmth and genuine care. What impressed me most is the way she communicates with guests — always kind, patient and genuinely willing to help. She is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel and a truly lovely person. A very special thank you also to Chrisa, Spiros, Natasha, Aleksandar and the entire lobby bar team. Thank you for your kindness and for making our evenings so enjoyable and memorable. Your warmth and excellent service have made us feel so welcome. I would also like to mention the reception team, who are always welcoming and helpful. Every time we passed by reception, we were warmly greeted with a smile, and the team was always genuinely happy to assist with anything we needed. And a special thank you to the gentleman who looks after our room. Every day we return to a room that is spotlessly clean and beautifully cared for. His attention to detail is greatly appreciated. I sincerely hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, because every single member of the Mythos Palace team has contributed in some way to making our holiday so special. This is our first visit to Mythos Palace, but it has certainly made a lasting impression on us. We have completely fallen in love with Crete and with this beautiful resort. Mythos Palace has already taken the number one place on my list of favourite hotels, and although we still have one more day to enjoy, I already know that we will be coming back. Thank you to the entire Mythos Palace team for an exceptional holiday and for creating memories that we will treasure for a very long time. Our first visit — but definitely not our last. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year.

Not good when had staff drink Raki and Ouzo !!!
It amazes us that people do reviews saying the place is fantastic ! ..... Who are people we met and they certainly didn't say that !!!
The staff are nice especially girls at pool bar.
It would be better if less Raki and Ouzo was drunk by bar staff and that focus of attention went into to food in the restaurant from a budget point of view (in other words it could be better Managed).
My Wife and I holiday A LOT and it's certainly NOT a 5 Star......
