I booked this 5-star hotel specifically for its spa facilities and planned to book several treatments during my 10-day stay. Unfortunately, the experience at the onsite spa was completely unacceptable.
After a long sales pitch from the spa manager, I booked two treatments with a promised 10% discount. The next day, I noticed the receipt didn't look right. Another staff member showed me the official price list, confirming the aromatherapy massage was €85 for 50min.
My receipt, however, listed €85 after the 10% discount—meaning I was charged €95 as the base price.
When I raised this mistake with the manager, she was extremely rude. She claimed the official price list was "out of date" and refused to honor the displayed price, despite this violating local consumer laws.
Instead of resolving the issue, she argued with me for 10 minutes right before my treatment.
The experience left me completely stressed rather than relaxed, so I canceled the massage and requested a refund. She then made me wait in her office while she made phone calls and refused to provide a refund receipt until I insisted. No apology was offered at any point.
This level of service and dishonest pricing is completely unacceptable for a 5-star establishment.
It completely ruined the start of my holiday. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel.
I also reported the incident to the hotel reception.

5* in Greece maybe, England definitely not. We were half board. Travelling with disabilities. Buffet breakfast and dinner, enjoyable and clean. Majority of waiting staff are very professional and courteous, except for one who decided to tell me in front of restaurant that our table was a four, not to sit there again and remember the following day. Another waiter brought our water and split the table, really no need and not a 5* attitude. No reserve on this table, very rude and embarrassing while eating. Be aware during breakfast you recieve your drinks however at dinner you pay for them including water. Beach is brilliantly located, access stairs from bikini bar, ramp from front of the building with a small walk. The water is crystal clear and the donut man is a treat. There is a open policy for sunbed rentals and Im not sure I would want to be here in the high season if I was looking for adult only. The sunbed man is very protective of his sunbeds day two of our 4 day break we took one of the full day beds but we're told it would be €30 for hotel quests and €50 for non guests, I argued they are not charged around the pool 10 m away. Again in a 5* hotel a guest has paid a massive premium if it matter to the hotel it matter to the paying visitor. Not a 5* attitude. This hotel is very € driven and
Best bit. Be very mindful if travelling with disabilities. My partner has MS and IBS and our flight is 1155pm. Request pay to stay in room for additional time so she is safe to use commodities.
1st request denied. 2nd request would cost us €340 one day fee.
Would we recommend this hotel Yes if your flight times are good and you dont mind the hidden extras even on principle.
I did as I dont like being duped or spoken to in a rude manner when we have paid for the experience.

wanted sunshine, warmth, and a peaceful atmosphere, and I got it. A saxophone was playing in the evening; it was so romantic.
A beautiful and clean hotel; the staff were very attentive and always ready to help, and the food was excellent – we are very, very pleased!liked that smart-casual attire was required for dinner and flip-flops were not allowed; I also liked that the hotel is 16+. The center of Malia is very close by.

Massage and Facial!!!
I had a deep massage and hydration facial with Alexandra who was amazing! I nearly fell asleep it was so great. Highly recommend, they have a great range of services here ☺️
