Small Intimate Adults only resort - Perfect for relaxing in peace.
Fantastic adults-only hotel – perfect for a relaxing getaway We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at the Kimpton La Mer in Crete, and it really was the perfect place for a few relaxing days away. As a Diamond IHG member, we really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The hotel arranged a private transfer from the airport for us, which made arriving completely stress-free. On arrival, we were delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful swim-up pool room, which was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more special. Complementary Wine and fruit were in our room. Breakfast had a fantastic selection with plenty of choice, and we also had one of the most amazing meals at the evening à la carte restaurant. The food was excellent, and lunch around the pool was always quick, fresh and tasty – exactly what you want when you're trying to switch off and relax. The staff were exceptional. Everyone we came across was friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable, whether we had questions about the food, the hotel or the local area. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The only minor negative for me was the pillows in our room, which were initially quite soft and lumpy. However, after mentioning this to reception, housekeeping promptly replaced them with lovely firm pillows – so even that was dealt with brilliantly. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. If you're looking for an adults-only hotel where you can relax, enjoy great food, receive fantastic service and genuinely do very little for a few days, I would highly recommend Kimpton La Mer. We would happily return!

Booked a massage. Rita and Sangi were amazing. Great deep tissue massage and we were well restored and completely relaxed afterwards. We highly recommend to go here if you want to get relaxed and restored

Last minute decision that just played out perfectly!
We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel, which gave us wonderful zen vibes and had us in holiday mode from the moment we arrived.
What truly made our stay special, however, was the exceptional quality of the staff. A special mention must go to Shula, Elena, Victoria and Jania, who consistently provided such a high standard of service at breakfast and dinner.
They could not have been more warm, welcoming and accommodating. It was genuinely a pleasure to see them each morning and evening, and their friendly service made our stay even more enjoyable.
We absolutely loved our time here and are already planning our return!
Amazing Experience
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel!
The hotel is on the beach and days are serenely quiet. Lying on the sun-beds, you can hear the sound of waves gently (and sometimes not so gently) crashing against the pebbly shore. The entrance to the sea is pebbly so bring sea shoes for a smoother entrance or you can walk 100m down the shore where there is a pier to enter the sea.
The team is absolutely lovely. Shout out to the girls at the reception - both the morning and afternoon shifts - as well as to Antonis at the à la restaurant. They made our stay truly memorable with their genuine Greek hospitality.
The overall vibe of the hotel was extremely relaxing and we would love to return someday soon.
