My family and I stayed for a week at the end of the 2025 summer season. There was some confusion upon check in as one out of the two rooms was ready but whoever stayed the first night in that room would be moved the following day? Not sure why that happened but the staff were very polite and helpful about it and the manager told us we could have a meal at the restaurant for free because of the mishap.
Once we were in our proper rooms we were very impressed. I don’t think I have ever slept in a more comfortable bed! And it was lucky it was so comfortable as the weather didn’t treat us well so a lot of time was spent in the room! I brought my fire stick with me and was able to stream easily on the complimentary WiFi. Had a lovely balcony overlooking the pools and beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast every morning was great a lovely selection and the eggs made to order were fab! Took several trips to the spa and had a couple of treatments which were incredible and well worth the money. The girls in the spa are lovely. Saved our free meal for the last night before heading home and whilst the food may have been slightly fancier than we are used to it was a fantastic experience.
We have been coming to Svoronata for years and have seen this hotel be built over the years so it was great to finally get to experience it. And it did not disappoint!

Lovely clean and intimate hotel 👍
I really liked this place - it is on the flight path but I would say in a good way. You can almost see the passengers face as the pass over - although not that frequent. I loved it. Staff are excellent- I mean really excellent and accommodating. Food is good although limited. Breakfast is ok. Very close to 2 excellent beaches both sandy and some great fish to see….. only interrupted by the odd plane😉.
Only 18mins by car from the Capital Argastoli - a must visit- what a beautiful place and if you get there around 9am I can almost guarantee you will see huge turtles! And so much choice for food.
However, I couldn’t bring myself to give 5 stars as no real bar area to sit and have a drink and food menu, although excellent, is limited. Would definitely come back!

Amazing time, on an amazing island in an amazing hotel
From the minute we entered the lobby we felt at home, our room wasn’t quite ready as our flight had made good time and the airport is not far from the hotel, not a problem as Kefalonia airport is not a very busy one, but the staff took our bags, settled us in the restaurant with complimentary drinks till the room was ready. The elektra is a proper boutique hotel lovely on the inside and out with a nice restaurant, lovely pool area and fantastic spa/gym facilities. All the rooms are very tastefully decorated and furnished and some rooms like ours, we had an executive pool room had our own infinity swimming pool, and I don’t mean just a typical plunge pool it was approximately 5m x 5m…lovely looking out to the sea, price wise, it wasn’t the cheapest place to stay in Kefalonia but what you got for your money it was definitely worth every penny.
