Would recommend but needs a few improvements
My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights last week and we had a lovely time. We were a bit apprehensive arriving due to the mixed reviews we had read prior but from our personal opinion we thought some were unjustified. First thing that stood out was the staff were very friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived and during our whole stay. The rooms looked just like the photos and we liked the additional sliding insect door to the balcony. Only downside was the cleaning service was irregular and not as thorough as we would have liked. However, we were upgraded to a side sea view on arrival which was appreciated. The check in experience isn't a problem either as we had seen previous complaints about this. The hotel is beautiful, plenty of sun beds around the pool, mini golf included and the beach restaurant is definitely worth booking! You also have a car rental place where we hired a quad bike for the day which was very reasonable and professional service. As well as a supermarket and bicycle hire. The 10min walk down to the beach is lovely, with the sports courts alongside as you walk down and the beach is nice and private. Plenty of activities available in the day. We liked that the hotel provided free access to the Lido Waterpark with transfer included and they also have a shared partnership with a coach company to take you to Kos Town for daytime or nighttime (this you do have to pay but not much).
Some notes of improvement would be the buffet food selection needs more hot food options and more of the buffet is taken up by a decorative display that could be used for more food choices. They offer a "Late Breakfast" from 10am - 11am which is basically access to the remaining hot food left that has been all placed in 2 trays and they start turning the lights off and shutting down the restaurant from 10am which made us feel very uncomfortable and rushed to leave. We found the drinks menu was very limited and each bartender made the cocktails differently. The hotel needs more lighting around the resort, especially at night as they have lots of steps and change of surface level which found a trip hazard. They also had no signage so finding the facilities was difficult even with the map they provided as wasn't accurate. Need more public toilets too as only had two - by the pool and beach restaurant but none around the rest of the hotel and none in the buffet restaurant. The rooms didn't provide a kettle even with tea bags in the room. Please bare in mind that the location is very secluded and takes 45minutes to walk to the closest town so hiring a car or organising public transport is required.
Overall, we would recommend but just needs a few tweaks to make it perfect.

Great luxury fun packed hotel with great facilities
We wanted a chill relaxing holiday to escape our busy lives and the hotel delivered. Great scenic location with great sunsets. Lovely tranquil walks and facility for car hire and great taxi services. Great clean hotel and services. I would change the beach bar to more of a fried chicken chips and pizza and other lighter bites. Food available was not the best but staff were amazing. Rooms were exceptional and beds comfy with all amenities. Hotel was grand and noise levels were fine. People were happy all over the hotel, great place. Grand entrance and lovely staff on arrival and this continued throughout the whole stay. Whole hotel was clean and tidy. Great value for money and food was fab with lots of variety and never ran out. Lamb chops were sensational. Would definitely return for a relaxing stay in the sun

Relaxing and perfect for couples
Lovely location. Clean and relaxing. It’s a great and calming atmosphere.
The rooms are lovely spacious with lovely decor. Could do with some drawers as not much storage space. The light from the hall shines into the room and it’s pretty bight, so it’s difficult to get to sleep. Would be better to have a motion light so it’s not on all the time or not so bright or even fill the glass in on the doors . We put a towel over the bathroom door and left it open which covered most of the light coming through.
The toilets around the hotel need the lights to stay on longer, because by the time you sit down it goes off.
It would look lovely and lived in a little if you had some pictures around the hotel as it does look very bare .
The entertainment isn’t great and not many seem to watch it .. the pool party atmosphere was fantastic though and everyone enjoyed it .. especially the music. Should have a few more nights like that to get everyone involved. It was packed that night as everyone came out.
Would be nice to have music on during the day around the pool .. sometimes it was on but very low that u could barely hear it.. just nice sometimes to have background music.
The WiFi is not the best and you don’t get it often around the pool and bar areas . Perhaps a router to help make the signal stronger. Can’t get it on the beach at all.
Everything I have pointed out are trivial things and can easily be fixed and make the stay that little bit more special. I’m just going by other hotels I have stayed in with the same star rating .. small things make a big difference to your stay.
On the positive side , we absolutely love the hotel and the staff are amazing and very friendly. Always happy to go that extra mile. Even the shop across the wrong are great. As they didn’t have dental floss so they had it brought in for us .. great service.
The hotel is lovely and modern and very clean with plenty to do . Beach a short stroll across the road was perfect.
It is great value for money but I think it’s more for adults/ couples for a relaxing holiday or as active as you want it to be.

Great trip
All staff on site were very lovely. From the very friendly bar staff, to the Layla and Miriam who ran some very good activities and were approachable. Would reccomend Kouros palace to anyone wanting a holiday.
